Levysill is a Reggae-Dancehall artist who was born in Nairobi, Kenya. He released his now classic debut single 'Tukae Masaa' (Swahili slang for ‘let's move forward’.) which received widespread support from media in East Africa. Levysill's first major concert appearance was at the AIDS awareness concert in November 2002 at the Impala Grounds, Nairobi where Jamaican reggae roots band, Culture were the headline act.

In 2003, he moved to the United Kingdom and within a short while he tactfully weaved himself into the London entertainment scene performing throughout London, Birmingham, Luton and Milton Keynes. He has performed at various events with Hip Hop legend Coolio and Reggae superstar Lloyd Brown. He has also toured Germany and Switzerland where he performed in cities such as Hamburg (where he performed with General Levy), Geneva, Lausanne and Nyon. While in Germany he caught the eye of the internationally acclaimed RIDDIM Dancehall magazine that featured his international debut single 'Hear And Deaf' in their CD compilation.

As well as releasing a successful EP in London, he also featured in a number of projects including London Individual's Million and Billion Riddim album compilations. In his time in the United Kingdom, Levysill received strong support from various key personnel in the UK radio, television and entertainment industry including BBC 1Xtra's Robbo Ranx, DJ Edu and Silver Star.

In 2008 Levysill returned to Kenya. He has been working on new projects and has received widespread and positive response from media houses and fans alike. He also performed at various events such as the Peace Concert headlined by Turbulance, the Black Supremacy anniversary at F2 and Sawasawa festival in the Nairobi Arboretum. In 2009, together with sensational singer Seamus at the Arkangel studios, Levysill recorded a song with international Reggae stars Luciano and Mikey General. In 2010, he released an album 'I-UNIFICATION' with fellow reggae artist, Fireson.

In September 2011, Levysill released his latest single ‘Weka Lighta’ (Swahili for ‘put your lighters up’). In June 2012, he collaborated on a track 'Full Attention' with Ugandan dancehall star, Peter Miles.

OKeh short history: 

OKeh was founded by Otto K. E. Heinemann when he set up his own recording studio and gramophone record pressing plant in New York City in September 1918. Heinemann formed the name of the record label "OKeh", from his initials.  OKeh began by issuing popular songs, dance numbers, and vaudeville skits similar to the fare of other labels, but Heineman also wished to experiment with music for audiences neglected by the larger record companies. OKeh produced lines of recordings in German, Czech, Polish, Swedish, and Yiddish for the USA's immigrant communities. In 1920, Ralph Peer's recordings by African-American blues singer Mamie Smith were a surprise smash hit for Okeh. The company perceived the significant, little-tapped market for blues and jazz by African American artists. Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Bix Beiderbecke are only a few names of jazz greats that have recorded for the label. By 1926 Columbia Records bought the label and kept it running into the 60's with jazz and R&B recordings. 

In 1994, Sony Music reactivated the OKeh label as a new-age Blues label. Okeh's first new signings included Keb' Mo, Popa Chubby, and Little Axe. By 2000, the Okeh label was again retired, but in 2013 it will see its re-launch as a jazz label once again.

  Zikki tells stories of everyday life through her music in an eclectic mix which she calls Urban Fusion, sampling influences from Afro-soul, Electronica, Zouk & Nusoul.

Her compilation EP entitled 'GET IT' was released in January 2015.

Current projects in the works include releasing her second EP 'The Camouflage Sessions', a subsequent tour & collaborations.
