Hot Natured are made up Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Luca C and Ali Love. All four are acclaimed producers, DJs and musicians in their own right but their coming together as one has the potential to take things to another level completely.

The Remedy Project is the imprint of London-based tastemaker Melvo Baptiste. Throughout Melvo’s decade in broadcasting and A&R he has shared his musical DNA of soul, rare groove, funk, disco and house with enthusiasts around the world, while making connections with contemporary artists on the peripheries of these genres in his quest to become the next indie champion. 

The Remedy Project is dedicated to the development of those young, forward-thinking, genre-bending and ambitious musicians. The label’s founding principles are to offer a home and a platform to these like-minded artists.

Luke is a 30 year old DJ from Bradford. He has DJ'd since he was 17 years old starting out with mobile disco's. Slowly working his way into bars at the age of 18 Luke started to get noticed by Bradford's biggest event - Sinful Sessions. He landed his first nightclub set on an outdoor smoking terrace. After that set he was moved in to the main room warming up and within weeks was on the main set. He has played all over the country in towns & cities such as Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Manchester, Wakefield, York, Scotland & Lincoln. Playing over very popular nightclubs and festivals Luke has a very wide range of music capability from 80s, disco, 90s dance, Pop, House music, R&B, commercial & more. Mark Stone – DJ/Producer/Remixer – born and raised in Basel/Switzerland was already enrolled at the Music Academy for Percussion lessons at the age of seven. Time passed by and Mark's passion for beats and rhythm grew.
 
1992 he came across artists such as Incognito, Brand New Heavies, NuYorican Soul, Dj Kenny Carpenter from Studio 54, Larry Levans Paradise Garage and the legendary Masters at Work who inspired him as a percussionist through their use of beats.

Mark's first DJ gig was at the old Bell Company Tower in Basel in 1994 and only a week later he got the once in a life-time chance to play a set at the legendary After Hours Club – The Downstairs. That’s where his DJ career kicked off and he already shared the turntables with the likes of Mandrax, Boris Dlugosch, Terry Hunter and David Morales.

End of 2003 he co-founded the weekly UDM Radio Show going ON AIR in April 2004 for the first time. Mark Stone’s weekly mixed sound selection of the hottest and newest in soulful and NY House is still running and hosting a Who-is-Who of the House Music Industry.

The UDM Show is the proud “Official Media Partner” of Europe’s biggest soulful Event: “SOUTHPORT WEEKENDER”. As UDM frontman he played in clubs in cities like Miami – Dubai – London – Southport - Cardiff and many other. 




Right place, right time. It's an old cliché, but it's one that's been the definition of Dennis Ferrer's musical career. Just as the dance music world was heading into the world of afro-centric house, Ferrer was there. And then, when it began to embrace the mix of tech and soul, Ferrer was there again, leading the way with his impeccable productions. As Ferrer goes, it seems, so does electronic music. And, as someone who's never content to do the same thing twice, it's clear that he'll be staying on top for years to come.

Ferrer burst back into the consciousness of most dance music heads with the release of "Sandcastles," (Ibadan) his collaboration with Jerome Sydenham in 2003. But, to his credit, Ferrer didn't simply repeat the formula afterwards. He has continued to push a variety of genres all at once. It's clear that Ferrer isn't content to rest on his laurels: he's too busy dreaming up new ways to shock and delight audiences.

In the mid-90’s, Ferrer was crafting techno records as Morph and then had success in the Afro and gospel house scenes with releases via his Sfere label, an imprint he began alongside Kerri Chandler. But it's this past work that gives his new productions such resonance: unlike many of this house peers, Ferrer's techno experience has given him an edge that you can hear in his recent work.

"Son of Raw," (Ibadan) "Church Lady," (Defected) "Underground Is My Home," (King Street Sounds), "Touched the Sky" (King Street Sounds), “Transitions” (King Street Sounds), “P 2 Da J” (Defected),  “Sinfonia Della Notte” (Strictly Rhythm), “Hey Hey” (Objektivity), “Red Room” (Objektivity), “Underground” Nick Curly – Dennis Ferrer Remix (Defected), to name a few, have all been huge dance floor anthems and all show a different side of the Ferrer personality as well as his impressive range as producer and remixer.

Ferrer has brought his ‘anything goes’ approach to his label, Objektivity.  Celebrating its 8th anniversary in 2014, the imprint has thus far focused itself on vocals, featuring often unlikely turns from indie heroes like Ane Brun and Télépopmusik. Low slung and deep, Objektivity is a cutting-edge label in touch with its time, putting a uniquely American spin on the deep house revival that is currently making waves in Europe. Objektivity is a living, breathing thing - one that's set to drop bombs on the dance floor for years to come.

While Ferrer closes out 2013 with “Mind Ur Step” (Defected), “Mind Ur Dub” (Objektivity) and a remix of Coyu - “Salvation” (Noir Music), the best is yet to come. With a deep knowledge of the past and a constant push for the future, Ferrer remains one of the true greats of house music - a leader and innovator whose enjoying the buzz around him but keeping on pushing the limits.
