"I write songs to reflect.  I sing them because it's soothing.  I share them because I must." Words that help Ja'Neeva sum up what she calls here life's purpose.  Ja'Neeva credits the various upcoming artists that she's been able to collaborate with over the last few years for helping her explore and define her sound.  However, she credits her time in Tucson and career as an elementary school teacher for helping her discover her life's purpose.
