This song was written from a female's perspective and exemplifies a woman's ability to be flirtatious and direct. "Someday Is Tonight" is an R&B song written/composed by Terry Lewis, James (Iii) Harris, Janet Damita-Jo Jackson and performed by Janet Jackson on her album: Rhythm Nation 1814. Growing up, I developed a love for Ms. Jackson's music & had many of her songs on repeat in my CD player- "Someday is Tonight" was always one of them!

 

Not too long ago, a college of mine invited me to sing on his Dancehall instrumental. I had intended on writing an original song, but as I recited my own lyrics, something reminded me of this song. I then began singing.."Here we are...just you and me..." Wow, I thought, as I continued singing; a remix! I am currently in process of making this song a legitimate remix, so ALL feedback and tips to make this a song on my album are welcome and GREATLY appreciated!!
