Die RUHE macht was sie will - Techno mit Live Vocals. Ihr Name steht für die Ironie des Lebens an sich, denn die quirlige Künstlerin ist alles andere als ruhig. Sie verbindet das was sie am meisten liebt - lebendige, druckvolle elektronische Tanzmusik mit dem was sie am besten kann - Stimme.

Maria Ruhe lädt dazu verschiedenste Musiker ein, Instrumente zu ihren Tracks beizusteuern oder gemeinsam zu produzieren. Damit spricht sie sich für Entwicklung und Fortschritt aus und es entsteht eine Schnittstelle zwischen analog und digital, die Grenzen verschwimmen lässt.

Die RUHE erzählt Geschichten von der Tanzfläche - schliesslich ist diese ihr zu Hause. Von geprochenem Wort über Poesie zum Song verpackt ihre eigenen Tracks zusammen mit denen der Künstler, die sie aktuell am meisten inspirieren. Ihr LiveSet wird so mit einer angenehmen Portion live vocals von dunkel bis bunt bemalt. Eine unkonventionelle Performance, die dem Alltag entkommt und dich mit in eine Welt nimmt, die Freiheit und das Leben feiert.

Over the past years Jan played hundreds of club- and festival gigs as a touring dj and liveact – representing his own definition of energetic music to the floors – always hard but never undemanding.
