Dimi Angelis’ eighth release on his ANGLS label is essentially a tale of four brothers. Four separate tracks, clearly related yet with distinctive qualities that sets each of them apart in its own unique way. 

Out Of Nowhere does its name justice by hitting home from its opening bars, throwing a messy sawtooth layered with evolving percussion at the listener. Following suit, Funky Lizard is an amalgamy of trippy, filtered arps blended with a classic rhythm section. Damage guaranteed.

Third up but musically no where near third place we find the aptly named Titan, a unabating industrial track that has quite the character as a tool but performs just well as on its own. Fast and gritty. As if forged from the same fire as Funky Lizard closer Automatic once more takes a turn for the introvert in an almost Millsian fashion by employing driving tonal paths and hissing drums forming a grand conclusion.

Pleasurekraft return to Drumcode on remix duties after a 2 year hiatus with all engines on the Cosmic Techno ship firing.  Big-room atmospheric drums and an infectious call and response hook intertwine with Green Velvet's otherworldly vocals to produce a new highly visceral and steroid injected version of the original.  The "Space Date" remix marks the sixth collaboration between the seminal purveyors of the Cosmic Techno sub-genre, Pleasurekraft, and Chicago's iconic dance music pioneer Green Velvet. 

The remix initially came about after Drumcode head Adam Beyer heard Pleasurekraft's "Welcome to the Universe" EP [Kraftek] at the end of 2018.  A huge supporter of the Swedish/American production duo, Adam felt so inspired by the whole EP, especially "Main Sequence" that the opportunity for Pleasurekraft to take their love of all things space related lent itself naturally to the thematic elements in Green Velvet's vocals. 

The track's spine is built around a hypnotic groove that is anchored to a single word from the original's vocals : "ecstasy" and slowly builds to the first climax of the record where the listener finally hears Green Velvet's vocals in full for the first time.  However it isn't until the second break of the track that the power of the remix is finally unsheathed, resetting the groove and building up to a second swell featuring a duo of call and response melodies between the lead hook and a lower end bass that takes the intensity of the track up another notch - ultimately culminating in complete silence that gives way to the remix's original heartbeat and repeating mantra: "ecstasy". 

Taking over a month of studio time to complete, it was road tested for the first time at Pleasurekraft's Fabric London gig, where there was no shortage of inquiries as to the ID of the record.  This soon became a repeating theme after Adam Beyer first included it on DCR446 and played it during both of his Ultra Miami (Resistance) sets, including his closing b2b set with Maceo Plex who loved the track so much he proceeded to get his own copy and play it during his own solo set one week later at Time Warp in Germany.  

Multiple clips of the remix have already gone viral on various social media and blog outlets, with no shortage of fans waiting anxiously for the June 24 release date on Adam Beyer's own Drumcode Records. In Adam Beyer's own words, Pleasurekraft are "setting new standards" with their continued foray into the Cosmic Techno sub-genre they continue to define.

A later version of this track, without the higher synth line and with few adjustments, resulted in “I Will Guide Thy Hand”, released in May 2019 on Modularz.

Dann hab ich jetzt das erste mal seit fast 22 Jahren in einem ausrangierten Bus gespielt , Im sitzen und es war pervers Gut. 

Wie man jetzt nen ganzen Bus voll mit Feierscheinen bis zum Dach , in die Luft bekommt, weiß Ich auch.  Im gleichtakt zum Takt im kollektiv hüpfen, das Funktioniert echt,  Ich schwör es . 

Zum Lineup im Bus bleibt nur eins festzustellen. 
Das hat sich jemand richtig kaputtes einfallen lassen. 

Jeder der DJ´s an dem Abend iss ja auf seine Art gestört, aber gleich  5 von der Sorte , das beweißt es gibt wirklich wahnsinnige Eventmanager die auch vor Sowas keinen halt machen.

Angefangen mit Alexander Heinecke, sieht aus wie Nachbars Liebling,  passt bloß auf, der gibt euch gleich am Anfang nix zu lachen, 
Tja , Dominik T. das kann man nicht schön reden, Der iss einfach Gewissenlos!!
Woshi , also Ich. Naja vielleicht sollte ich über eine Therapie nachdenken?!
Kellerkinderz RZS , naja Kinder aus dem Keller finden nie wirklich ins leben zurück. 
Und Pascal Feuchthofen, Urvadder Kernassi himself und in Farbe, aber das interessiert nicht mehr wenn euch , sein Sound das Hirn weichgekloppt hat.
