Metamorphosa is a new techno label that has developed from a long running event series in Arnhem, Holland. The label is starting with a bang with the first release featuring a remix from Drumcomplex alongside original tracks from the label owners Kamara, promoters and resident DJ’s / live act at the Metamorphosa parties.

Before starting their own label, Dutch duo Kamara have previously contributed music to heavyweights including Christian Smith's Tronic and Uto Karem's Agile Recordings, alongside Bush Records, BluFin, and Detone.

Also traveling the world to DJ everywhere from China and Japan, to Norway and Iceland, the next logical step for Kamara has been set up their own label.

Germany’s Drumcomplex is someone respected as both a solo and collaborative artist, but best of all he is a consistent artist always associated with quality. Whether it’s a collaborative release on Carl Cox’s Intec, or a solo EP on Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings, any track that features his name is guaranteed to have maximum impact in a darkened room full of dancing people.

Track one “Dragonfly” gets the EP moving with its buzzing kick drum and pitched vocals which spins and whirls around the track drawing you into its dark atmosphere. Leading in to the main breakdown it lifts up a gear when the throbbing bassline becoming the tracks driving force.

Drumcomplex for his remix of “Dragonfly” focuses of bringing out the percussive element with ride cymbals, distorted bells, and crunching claps all making up the core if its pulsating rhythms. Twisted and hypnotic, this spell bound version will tantalise the dance floor.

The deepest of the three tracks is “Snake Charmer” which is built around snare rolls and murky synths. Stripped back and spacious, it slowly builds tension with stabs of acid and explosive bursts as it slowly gets ready for take-off, and its immersive sound is impossible to ignore.

Inhalt der Nacht is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, defined by a singular sound imprint inspired by cold wave and new wave beats.

Following a prolific drumming career, CYB was lured into the techno world via his own experimentation with synthesizers and drum machines, an instinctive continuation of his journey as a musician. Since 2015, he's been infusing the scene with his own outputs, heavily influenced by the pulsating techno he found himself pulled towards, including embarking on a couple of solid collaborative projects which saw his musical persona evolve and thrive. All along the way, CYB's aim has been to entice listeners to take a peak into his world, immersing themselves in his take on electronic music - amplifying the perception of music and inspiring at every turn!

Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical prowess.

Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful techno. His productions are characterised by his love..

In May of this year Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takers the listener on. His talent lies in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and patterns.

In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.

A DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic machines Roland 909.

After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t possible.
