Born and raised at the Baltic Sea, Seccoboi started DJing in 2011 at the age of 14. With only 2 Reloop CD players and a legendary Behringer DJX 750 at hand, he began by buying and burnings tons of CDs and sorting them carefully in his CD bag. Seccoboi presented his music to audiences via different online radio channels in the first two years. By the age of 16, he was allowed to DJ in Clubs and did so at events in his home area in Mecklenburg Western Pomerania. In 2015, when Seccoboi turned 18 he moved to Berlin and started producing music. From the beginning until 2019 Seccoboi experimented with different styles of music and DJed for crowds of up to 3.000 people all over Germany peaking with his performance at the SonneMondSterne Festival. By the end of 2019, he decided to take a break to finally find his style of music to go forward with. Since 2020 Seccoboi defines his music as Energy House. Together with his partner in crime Lucio G, he proved to stand out with his style of music with Gigs at Ritter Butzke, Buschtanz or Aue Molk.

DJ Q isn’t just part of the UKG and Bassline story, he wrote key chapters and now he’s setting the record straight with Foundations, his definitive return to the raw sound that shaped him.
Q is a pioneer whose imprint on UK underground dance music runs deeper than most. Nearly two decades in the game have cemented him as one of the most technically gifted, respected, and versatile DJs in the country full stop.
From the breakout anthems to the charting “You Wot!”, Q brought Northern Bassline to national attention at a time when most of the industry ignored it. He didn’t follow trends, he built them. As a founding member of TQD (alongside Flava D and Royal-T), he helped modernise and globalise UK Garage, showing a new generation what the sound could become.
His 2022 album Est. 2003 featuring legends like Todd Edwards, proved Q’s production legacy stands shoulder to shoulder with his DJing. Q’s influence cuts through multiple eras, scenes, and sounds.
