oh that right there!!  I love all the harmonies but it just got laser focus there  this feels so wonderfully 70's album cover bellbottoms Hair off Broadway; this was playing when I first tried making out

The past few months have been a wonderful time for my eldest son and his partner, who are expecting a child. They wanted to share the good news of the pregnancy but had some concerns about going public in the early stages and decided to wait until the first sonogram and medical check confirmed everything was as it should be. 

During those early days the undivided love they felt for each other in starting a new family grew and when they felt secure enough they finally shared their news with the family.

I’ll never forget the excitement when they showed us the first sonogram photo – that new family was becoming more real with every passing day.
Then came the second image, showing the baby nearing full development, with a clear indication of gender.  Jason and Nicky felt it was time to name their child, choosing Richard Terence Reeves – RTR.   Sharing the name Terence with me makes me so very emotional.  
Being a granddad was something I had never expected but I am filled with pride to be just that to Richard Terence Reeves.

Deep thanks to Hans for once again producing such a wonderful arrangement for the song I wrote to celebrate the occasion.  It really captures the growing excitement we‘ve all been feeling over the past few months. Thanks so much for listening. 

Gary has asked me to apologize to anyone who has messaged him over the last couple of months and hasn’t received a reply.  Health problems and hospital appointments, among other things, have been taking up much of our time recently. It's like people don't understand you sometimes you know? The language is getting smaller and smaller, the meaning of words is changing before our very eyes and ears, there is less and less room for metaphor for "big" words for "big" thoughts.
