After 4 solo EPs on vinyl, Lyon-based Dill Dodos Recife label is about to hack the cassette business with its forthcoming compilation: a gathering of high-energized, sharply sound-designed tracks with a dubby taste of the soundsystem culture. Benikasas, a wannabe musical traveller brings an experimental set that was originally incepted during an overcast winter season. You might recongise his face from Radio Vilnius and Karakumai. A hidden passion of his is to take lyrical songs and wrap them with a mean kick and sometimes a crashing snare as well. Despite a danceable tracklist the original intention of this piece was to bring harmonies that clash and merge into one continuous hour.
