Founder of the record label Bonkers Music on 2018 and co-founder of the collective Sonica Barcelona, Mexican artist Ludviq has been releasing music since 2016 on labels such as Playground, Bonkers, Side Up Works, Belly Dance Services and Maleante Rec. among many others, and soon also on with us on Play Pal.

His sets and influences go from Psychedelic, Italo, Post Punk, Indie or Breaks, to Disco and EBM.

Play Pal Mix 067: Ludviq (Bonkers / Playground / MEX)

Radondo connects the dots between Italo Disco, EBM and experimental rock within his productions. Incorporating subtle nods to post-punk and dystopian cinema, the UK-born artist creates a map of his influences, weaving compelling narratives in the process. 

The Berlin-based artist has built a versatile sound within the Italian Dance Wave movement, garnering a swift reputation for his take on the genre. His progressive DJ sets have seen him quickly become a prevalent figure within Berlin's scene, playing regular slots at venues such as Renate and becoming a resident at the revered Slow Motion Records parties. With a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Discotexas, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files, he merges arcane soundscapes with ethereal, analogue synth lines illuminating ever-growing sonic threads.

As a remixer, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the greats. He has remixed the likes of Senor Chugger, Justin Strauss, and Moullinex, tying in a fascination with the darker realms of Italo Disco. Radondo creates a compelling atmosphere filled with tantalising nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

Counterterraism Guest Mix 363: Molsy

Ian has been playing music to people at parties, in clubs, bars and on radio for over 30 years. An avid collector of funk, soul, hip-hop and electro records, he eventually became absorbed into the nascent acid house scene in East London and Essex. Throughout the 90’s and into the 2000’s, he trod the well worn path of DJ residencies and promoting parties eventually making and releasing his own music, remixing and running a record label spanning the evolution from big-beat to NuSkool breaks.

After a move to South East London, Ian secured a residency at Deptford institution bar and radio station, AAJA, playing slots live at the bar and online, spawning the long-running Dark Disco Radio show, now broadcasting monthly on Mixcloud. 

Recent DJ bookings include iconic venues the Social in London and the world famous Golden Lion in Todmorden. As a producer and remixer, his output can be found on scene-favourite labels like Paisley Dark, When Disco Goes Wrong, Hottwerk and the seminal Nein Records, also spawning his breaks and acid collaboration with Nein head-honcho Neil Parnell as PARVALE.

Counterterraism Guest Mix 366: Ian Vale

DJ, producer, guitarist, sound engineer, and beatmaker, Chris Gavin's rich and eclectic musical career spans several decades and genres.

In the 90's, he gained his first experience as a guitarist in rock bands in the south of France before transitioning to electronic music. Starting in 2000, he collaborated with tribal progressive legend Rick Pier O’Neil, becoming a remixer and label manager at Garbage Records.

In 2015, he worked with pop artist Thierry de Cara (Capitol) on projects as a sound engineer and beatmaker for major players in the music industry, including Universal Music, Sony, and M6. This led to his contribution of eight tracks on the album Love & Soul by Canadian artist Corneille.

In 2018, Chris Gavin founded the club “Danceteria” in Marseille, a project that reflects his deep involvement in the local cultural scene and where he's hosted artists such as Curses, Theus Mago and Thomass Jackson among many others.

In 2024, following several performances in Barcelona, spanish label Side Up Works offered him the opportunity to release an EP (e-nough), which received critical acclaim.
His productions, blending Indie Dance, progressive house, and techno, have captivated an international audience of renowned DJs and producers, including John Digweed, Laurent Garnier or Carl Cox to name a few.

His side project 'Danse Alice', in collaboration with producer Remain, explores dark disco and electro rock sounds and it has been released on esteemed labels such as Lumière Noire Records, Ombra International, New Day Everyday, La Dame Noir, and Throne of Blood.
