The Underwater years from 2002 and 2004 gave birth to the new Gusgus setup with Earth as the lead singer.  The involvement of Darren Emersons label manager and his successful selection off remixers for the hit "David" was important part of re-establishing this new lineup.  This was not the first interaction of the band with Darren Emerson and his label as the first release on his label was the track with Tworld, Anthem in 1994.  As some of you might know Tworld merged into Gusgus when the band was formed in 1995.  Here is one of these remixes of David, carefully remastered for you.

Bavarian-Brazilian Alex Stein has quickly risen to become regarded as one of the most well-known and revered artist worldwide of the new Brazilian techno / techno-house scene.

With releases already on Suara, Sincopat, Bunny Tiger, Great Stuff Recordings, Herzblut, Tronic, etc...  he has surpassed all expectations and it seems he will follow the same footsteps of his friend and fellow countryman Victor Ruiz, who is unstoppable - publishing on labels such as Senso Sounds, Octopus, Terminal M and of course, Suara. 

At the same time, he has accumulated an incredible legion of followers, not only in his home nation Brazil, but throughout the world thanks to performances in Canada, South Africa, Australia, and of course the main European capitals. By the way, like Victor, Alex usually spend some time throughout the year in Berlin, the ever-glowing German capital, a perfect place to continue evolving on his greatest passion: techno.

About Quivver :

John Graham began his production career in the early 1990s and is now regarded as one of the most revered figures in the progressive scene today.

Best known as Quivver, he has invented a host of other monikers, including Space Manoeuvres, Stoneproof, Skanna and Tilt, each one representing a different shade of his eclectic sound and proof of his true versatility.

In 2017, John became Beatport's 4th highest selling progressive artist of the year and scored a coveted number 1 with his remix of Wally Lopez's ‘Trip’ on Beatfreak Recordings, along with numerous top 10 hits over the course of the year. 

He also was chosen to perform vocals for ‘Rooms’ in Sasha’s 'reFracted: Live' show and released an official remix under his Skanna guise. 

As a vocalist John has also collaborated and written electrifying songs for the likes of Hybrid, Planet Funk and also Darren Emerson’s project ‘The Low Highs’.

As a DJ, John has travelled the world and performed every conceivable hot spot from Glastonbury, UK to Pacha, Buenos Aires to Asia to his enviable residency at the notable Twilo, NYC to Avalon, L.A.

In addition, his music has been licensed and charted innumerable times including most recently to Frank Miller’s “The Spirit” and CSI – NY. 

He has also been and is working on film composing in “The Taking of Pelham 123,” “Twelve,” and “Shrek Forever After 2010.” Additionally, he has produced the music for video game trailers including “Transformers”, “Call of Duty- Modern Warfare 2, “Call of Duty World at War,” “Call of Duty Black Ops,” and ”Batman: Arkham City Riddler.”

Nick Muir has always been a big fave here at C-U is best known for his work as a producer of electronic dance music both on his own and as one half of the Bedrock production team with John Digweed.

John Digweed and Nick Muir's partnership has been one of electronic music's most fruitful pairings. Between them, they've creating a body of work that’s seen them become one of the world’s most highly regarded production duos.

Together, they've been involved in many pivotal moments in the world of club music with their music even helping to define some genres.

Classic tracks like 'For What You Dream Of' and 'Heaven Scent' under Digweed and Muir's Bedrock monkier, plus Nick's own 'Stoneage' as Floorjam are widely regarded as classics, which are still played all over the world today.

Muir's music has been used extensively in film and both he and John have written scores for, amongst others, 'Stark Raving Mad' (Newmarket films) and 'Spiderman - the animated series' which won a Dancestar award for Best Use of Music in a TV Show.

'For What You Dream Of' was famously used in the club scene of the phenomenally successful era defining film, 'Trainspotting'.
