Melancholic Mood

Dark clouds passing by,
Grey days as time goes by.
A drop falls, a deep sigh,
In my soul, spinning high.
Chorus:
Melancholy in the rain,
Tears blending with the dew.
In this moment of silence,
I find myself right here and true.

Thoughts flying far and wide,
Lost in my own world's tide.
A smile faint, yet heavy as lead,
In this rain, so cold it's spread.
