Application is Jan Oben's debut release, created during a time when he was supposed to be writing job applications. The track is driven by a strong sense of rhythm and grounded by a powerful bassline. Hovering above it is a subtle melody that adds emotion to the driving percussion.

The track was already played ahead of its release by Surusinghe in her The Lot Radio set.
