Distropical, electronic duo of producers and DJs, from Milano, Italy,  formed by Govind Singh Khurana and Stefano Greco. It’s electronic outer-world music, the soundtrack of a party in an imaginary tropical place where the raw energy of traditional field recordings is transferred to the dance floor.  “Astral Langur” brings us to a desertic area, with its obsessive 3/4 beat, while “Birds Of Toi” sounds like a trip, looking for a rave in the jungle. “Jaguarundi” is a hi-energy track where the acoustic sound of a homemade guitar, leads in an unexpected direction. In “Crabitation” the electronic element is bent to follow the acoustic tribal sounds, with their polyrhythms. “Chuao Chuao” starts from a field recording made by Stefano Greco in Venezuela, during a street session of Tambores De Choronì, drums of Afro-Caribbean origin.

Love is the answer, but what was the question?
Love is the most powerful force in the universe and we are all, in one way or another motivated by love. But this particular sentiment that is often portrayed as easy and pure, something that comes natural to us, can feel quite different in reality. What we think is supposed to be effortless, often has more complexity to it than we had hoped for: you could sum it up as "The Love Dilemma" – which is also the title of the second album by Benjamin Fröhlich.

Five years after his acclaimed debut album "Amiata", the producer, DJ and co-founder of Permanent Vacation returns with the concept album "The Love Dilemma", which explores the multi-layered matter of love. To be more precise, it is about any sort of relationship between humans, where love is involved. The album follows the structure of how a relationship can unfold: It starts off a bit misty and hazy and crawls up to some h(o)rmony and big endorphin highs. Over time the feeling intensifies with heat and sparks, before an inevitable friction and phase of questioning. Here, the tone switches and a clear cut marks a turning point. If the relationship continues, a new direction is taking over and stirs the boat into calmer, but not less intense waters, where it finally sails to unknown shores.

As the soundtrack for these different stages of a relationship, Benjamin chooses a mixture of 90's inspired Balearic, House, Ambient and Garage. You can find a lot of prominent basslines, pianos, vocal chops and percussions.
