This is the live recording of my dj-set at "Plötzlich am Meer" festival where I had the chance to play on the mainstage from 3:30-5:30 on sunday morning. It was definitely one of my favourite gigs this year and I really enjoyed every single moment playing in front of so many people.

The first LUVCAST in 2014 comes from viennese DJ Curly Sue.

He is a close friend of Luv Shack Records and an occasional studio buddy of Lee Stevens. Together they revamped the old Police classic "Roxanne". Curly, whos real name is Michael Weiler, is one of the masterminds of the viennese crew 'Jugendstil' - a key collective of the Austrian underground music scene.

His taste and style have helped him become a renowned DJ in Vienna, and we think his selections are just in tune with what we like at LuvShack!

KARIN YEAH !!! So beschreibt man am besten Frau Hofmann … lustig, quirlich und eine unglaubliche Power. 

Vor 3 Jahren hat sie das erste Mal bei unserem kleinen Festival „von Freunden für Freunde“ an den Turntables gestanden … seitdem ist sie fester Bestandteil und nicht nur hier. Mit ein paar Freunden veranstaltet sie im Münchner Club „Tante Erna“ die mittlerweile schon legendären tanz.t.raum Partys … mit einem sowas von tollem Publikum … man fühlt sich einfach wie zuhause.

In ihrem Sound ist Karin unglaublich facettenreich … von mega entspannten House bis zu wummernden Techno … bei Karin weiß man nie was einem erwartet … Schublade gibt’s nicht ;-)

Da sie nun für einen Monat in die Anden verschwindet … hat sie für uns ein kleines Fernweh-Tape eingespielt …

Karin viel Spaß auf deinem Trip und schön dass wir dich haben …. KARIN YEAH !!!

The Luvcast series continues with a mix from one of Luv Shack Records’ most reliable and productive members: Lee Stevens.
His smash hit “Ridin’ High” helped putting the label on the map and right now he’s one of the busiest producers in Vienna; as one half of the project Burnin Tears his work as a remixer is highly sought after by just about everyone who has a name in Austrias electronic music scene.
To once again show his versatility, Lee Stevens offers an ecclectic mix that not only showcases recent productions on and around his home label Luv Shack Records, but also reaches out a bit further into his musical cosmos, proving that deep house and disco are merely a part of the spectrum. Expect greatness!
