Event-Horizon (2021) is a choral symphony composed in 2020-2021 for the 75th anniversary of the Dutch Radio Philharmonic and Chorus, performing here under the baton of James Gaffigan. It premiered on September 17th, 2021 in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht. The work consists in four movements, each describing a different aspect of the attraction of a black hole, both figuratively and literally.
