This 10th mix gets us in the mood for some adventurous summer nights ahead, in a forest, in a field, wherever you might land, dancing till sunrise with friends and strangers. 

@januar-dj jumps straight into it with some powerful psychedelic tracks to stomp your feet to. 

Airy melodies layered over driving bass lines shift between light and dark atmospheres. 

Various dreamscapes tied together by grooving, trancy bass lift you up, give you moments to breathe and moments to ponder.

Januar lives in and around Bochum, where he’s a resident DJ and co-host of the Spark party series at Schlegel Kultur Club.

For this month's spiral sonic we've invited Prieste5s: electronic musician, live-coder, and visual artist based in Berlin. In her own productions, Prieste5s fuses versatile influences from across the genre spectrum - bass-heavy sounds, hypnotic techno elements, breakbeats, ambient, and experimental influences characterize her sonic palette. She takes her inspiration from a variety of different sources, and is passionate about experimentation in music and exploring the unexpected crossovers between different genres and different mediums.
Inspired by her fascination of the untouched wilderness, natural history, and geological exploration, Prieste5s’ sound is a synthesis of organic sound design and psychedelic atmospheres. Her music is an expression of the transience of experience, and the ephemerality of the natural world.

Fatale Furylax is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Paris. A graphic designer, DJ, co-coordinator of Station Station Radio, and member of the collective and label De la…je l’espère, she crafts a sound rooted in contrast and alchemy. Her music is an eclectic tapestry—ambient drifting into bass, where dubstep pulses, breakbeats, drum & bass, and experimental echoes bloom into dark, organic landscapes.

In her music curation, she pays particular attention to highlighting minority artists, notably through her bimonthly show More FLINTA* in USB keys on Station Station Radio, and through her compilation Delphæ, released on the label of her collective.

A resident of Radio Sofa, she invites listeners on A Good Trip in My Mind—a sonic journey through the quiet, the strange, and the beautifully unclubbed corners of music.
