Brazilian duo RIKO & GUGGA make a powerful debut on Perspectives Digital with a two track EP that showcases their signature fusion of melodic depth and finely tuned dancefloor precision.  Known for blending 80's-inspired synth textures with the pulse of contemporary Melodic Techno, the São Paulo-based pair have cultivated a distinctive sound that's earned widespread support from industry heavyweights like Vintage Culture, Solomun, Adriatique, Nora En Pure, Cassian, Kevin de Vries, and Miss Monique, among many others.

"Valkyrie" opens the release with cinematic flair.  An ethereal lead glides over a propulsive groove, gradually building into a soaring climax shaped by intricate layers and rhythmic tension.  Equal parts emotional and explosive, it's tailor-made for big rooms and peak moments on the floor.

On the flip, "Prophet" explores darker territory, driven by pulsing basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, and a deeper melodic sensibility.  The arrangement unfolds with intention, weaving elements in and out of focus before locking into a nocturnal groove that resonates both physically and emotionally.

"Summer Nights" is a reflection of those early mornings when everything aligns. With my friend DABARNO, working remotely and each from his hometown (Pergamino and Arroyo Seco), we sought to capture the emotion of a unique moment: when you open Ableton and let yourself go.

This track is the soundtrack to those nights, a journey to a space where ideas flow unfiltered. It's a sound born of impulse, connection, and the freedom to create. In every note, you feel the warmth and calm that only summer can bring, that feeling that anything is possible and time doesn't exist.

It's proof that you don't need a giant studio or physical proximity for magic to happen. All you need is an idea, an Ableton, and friendship.

We're very happy that this track is released on Musique de Lune, a label with a strong presence in the progressive house scene that consistently supports artists with quality sound.

“Noches de Verano” es un reflejo de esas madrugadas en las que todo se alinea. Con mi amigo DABARNO, a la distancia y cada uno desde su ciudad (Pergamino y Arroyo Seco), buscamos capturar la emoción de un momento único: cuando uno abre el Ableton y se deja llevar.

Este track es la banda sonora de esas noches, un viaje a un espacio donde las ideas fluyen sin filtro. Es un sonido que nace del impulso, de la conexión, y de la libertad de crear. En cada nota se siente la calidez y la calma que solo el verano puede dar, esa sensación de que todo es posible y el tiempo no existe.

Es la prueba de que no se necesita un estudio gigante ni la cercanía física para que la magia suceda. Solo hace falta una idea, un Ableton y la amistad.
