I've been playing piano since a young age, but I never knew how to read music until college.  My favorite film composer is Danny Elfman and John Williams.  I have a B.A. Music degree from Louisiana College.  Favorite genres: film and games, hard/punk/alternative/classic rock, clean hip-hop, Irish folk, African (I.e., Alex Boyé), electronica (Owl City).  I’ll admit, I’m not so much of a performer or a vocalist as I am a musicologist.  I’m a theory nerd and I read and play at the keys via lead sheets.
