I was itching to create something and this song is what I ended up with. This is an experimental track inspired by my neurodivergent experiences. I tried to express the simultaneous chaos and mundanity of my daily life with ADHD. The track is intended to be an auditory illustration of how an ADHD mind perceives and processes and functions. It is both frenetic and mind-numbing in its repetition and its refusal to adhere to any set song structure. It is fun and weird and intense and random and dark. It is not necessarily meant to be the most pleasing thing to listen to. It is an expression of how I exist in this world. I hope you get something out of it and can maybe even enjoy it! 😊❤️💙

Chaos of an Unfiltered Mind (Troubled Times, ADHD Problems)

An attempt to celebrate and cherish even the worst of times, because singing and making music on GarageBand is a form of catharsis for me and it helps me in the most harrowing of times. I sang lead and harmony vocals and played the different parts using a synth on my phone, and added a beat, all with my own production and hefty doses of reverb lol. A HUGE thank you to Apple for providing this wonderfully intuitive music software. This was entirely made on GarageBand.

Inspired by Grendel’s mother from the iconic Old English epic poem Beowulf, and her ambiguous, enigmatic, and deeply, tragically dark life and circumstances. This track incorporates elements of noise and electronic synth music, along with muffled rock/trap/pop beats, and dissonant synth and string lines. There are also live recordings of household items, along with some improvised claps and beats provided by myself.
