This is my demo submission for Video Game Music Academy's #7DaysOfVGM Composition challenge. The theme for this week's challenge is JRPG (Japanese Role-Playing Games like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Breath Of Fire, etc.) 
1 Week, 7 days of JRPG music to create. The topic for Day 1 is "Prologue to Adventure": composing a cinematic opening to a potential JRPG video game.

#7DaysofVGM - Day 1 (JRPG) - A Hero Emerges

Day 2 of the #7DaysofVGM challenge! Did a low-key starter town JRPG track; struggled a bit with patches because I wanted to use an acoustic guitar for the backing and a solo oboe for the melody. Will probably record acoustic guitar and harp for this when working on it later!

This is a short excerpt of one such track, speed-written and arranged in two hours on November 17th for day 4 of #7DaysofVGM November 2020 (theme: JRPGs)
