Hot on the heels of his smash hit ‘Get Beasty’ EP released in February this year, Hot Creations favourite Patrick Topping is back with another superb release in the running to be his most successful yet! The ‘Boxed Off’ EP features three dance floor bombs, just as we’ve come to expect from talented youngster, all with that signature Patrick Topping sound yet each completely unique. ‘Forget’ is potentially his biggest track yet, a staple of Jamie’s current sets it’s truly infectious and set to be feature heavily at WMC this year. ‘Boxed Off’ is menacing, rumbling & dark heads-down affair whilst ‘Schwicked’ is another hooky as hell bomb from Patrick. Another killer three track EP from Patrick Topping, who seems like he can do no wrong at the moment!

Patrick Topping impressed us all with his debut EP ‘Walk On’, with his tracks being championed by Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and the Hot Creations crew. His next EP ‘Any Amounts’ was one of the biggest releases of the year for Hot Creations. More recently his ‘Get Beasty’ EP was released, receiving masses of support including regular plays on Radio 1 from the likes of Annie Mac and Pete Tong who crowned him as a ‘Future Star’ on his show.

Alongside releases on his home label Hot Creations he has a track coming out on the Defected Miami CD and remixes on the way for Circus Recordings and Resonance Records.

Zeitgeber is the duo of Speedy J and Lucy. Both renowned techno artists in their own  right, they’ve teamed up together to create a spellbinding album of abstract electronics. As  the owner of Electric Deluxe, Speedy J has overseen one of modern techno’s finest  imprints. He was there at techno’s beginnings as a DJ and producer, and he continues to  stand at its avant-garde, pushing his artists and himself to continue to innovate.

The same  goes for Stroboscopic Artefacts head Lucy, whose young imprint has never failed to  impress in its ambition and output. Lucy has a clear vision of what he wants with his  imprint, and across the label’s three album releases you can see that it has been  achieved. Zeitgeber marks a new era for Stroboscopic Artefacts. Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands, and features the vocals of Veerle. Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey. 
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori, two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

From Another Mind first started as a South German party series but soon evolved into a fully fledged label run by SHDW & Obscure Shape. Now it operates as a label and for the fourth release, they've invited a high-profile techno squadron to remix some of their tracks.

Artists like Rødhåd, Dax J, Konstantin Sibold and Ryan James Ford have all offered up their own high-octane and emotive re-imaginings of the duo's tracks but today we feature Tale of Us & Mind Against's edit.

Their remix of 'Die Weiße Rose' is a piledriving techno behemoth, one suited for dark, dank warehouses. Its synths zap across the forefront while venomous kicks thump away in the background.

It's the sort of demonic, mutant-energy track we've come to expect from both sets of producers and we're fairly certain it's going to explode. Check it out exclusively below.
