Carnal Defile have existed for about four years, but have not been as strong as now. With two singers and a heavy cavalry, we'll blow your mind!

Good Morning friends!
As you may have noticed we have been absent from this and other social media sites for a couple of months.
This i due to a reconstruction of the band and our strive towards a new concept.
This will include a new name, new and improved songs and a new video.
All this will be presented to you in the beginning of November.
Due to these changes we have taken down most of our old material from the internet.
We would also like to thank all of you for your support and patience.

God morgon vänner!
Som ni kanske har märkt så har vi varit lite frånvarande dom senaste månaderna.
Detta är på grund av att vi håller på med en omstrukturering för ett nytt koncept, som vi kommer att presentera i början av november.
Detta innefattar nytt namn, nya och uppfräschade låtar samt en ny video.
l och med denna omstrukturering så har vi plockat ner det mesta av vårt gamla material från nätet i väntan på det nya.

Bakgrund:
2009
- Carnal Defile startades upp i Gävle av syskonen John Ericson (trummor) & Maria Ericson (rythm gitarr), som från början hade en vision om att bandet skulle vara virituellt.
- Senare under året kom deras bror, Jimmy Ericson (sång) med ett intresse och en idé om att göra bandet fysiskt, vilket ledde till att Henrik Strand (sång), Jonas Gustavsson (lead gitarr) och Dennis ? (bas) hoppade med.
- Material skrevs och den första spelningen som gjordes av denna uppsättning blev på Sätra bibliotekets 40 årsjubileum i Gävle.
- Under detta år gjordes få spelningar. 
- Carnal Defile´s första demo spelades in live hos Prikken´s studio med låtar som "Bleed Them Dry", "Is This You" och "Void".

2010
- Jonas och Dennis valde att hoppa av. 
- Halva året gick innan bandet hittade de nuvarande medlemmarna Tobias Andersson (bas) och Jonas Lindh (lead gitarr), vilket gav ny glöd till bandet! 
- Under sommaren spelade dom på "Whiplash Music Festival" som var ett utomhusevenmang i Boulognerskogen, Gävle. 
- Den andra demon spelades in hos Carnal Defile´s trummis John Ericson. Låtar som "Deus Vult", "Loathing Mankind" och "Alter Fate" fick fylla denna demo.
- Under denna höst medverkade Carnal Defile på några av spelningarna som anorndnades på Mötesplatsen i Gävle.

2011
- Öppnade året med att medverka i musiktävlingen Rockkarusellen vilket gav dom tre spelningar. 
- Även detta år blev det två spelningar till på Mötesplatsen i Gävle. 
- "Better Place", "Dead To Me" och "Enslaved" fick bli den tredje demon i slutet av detta år, som även den spelades in hos John. Den blev tillgänglig på nätet under julhelgen. 

2012
- Ett redan produktivt år för Carnal Defile jämfört med de tidigare åren. 
- I mars medverkade Carnal Defile på "STHLM METALFEST" i Tyresö, Stockholm.
- I april tävlade dom i Getaway Rock Challenge med låtarna "Enslaved" och "Home Is Hell"; som gav bandet en spelning på Getaway Rock Festival denna sommar!
- Nytt & färskt material skrivs inför sommaren och i juni står dom på scen återigen i Stockholm, på Harry B James.
- En musikvideo är också inplanerad det här året.

Nightrage is back once again, delivering one of their best albums, in their 23 years of existence, without stopping creating uncompromising music for their devoted fan base.

“Remains of a Dead World” is the 10th album of the band and this time the band returned to where everything had started, since Nightrage was born in Greece in 2000.

With the great help of their past bandmate and now producer, sound engineer,  Fotis Benardo (Rotting Christ, Septicflesh, Sakis Tolis, Nightfall, On Thorns I lay, Suicidal Angels) at his Devasoundz studio in Athens Greece, and with his great producing skills, “Remains Of A Dead World” is a mixture of all the things that makes Nightrage a beast of integrity, they prove to be one of the last remaining true masters of the melodic death metal genre, fully unstoppable riffing, and great hooks with bigger than life guitar melodies with brutal vocals that represents the honesty and pure musical delivery, that comes straight from the heart.

The album has been mastered by a great friend of the band George Nerantzis (Abbath, Dark Funeral, Pain of Salvation, Sakis Tolis,) and his great skills gave the album a huge sound with clarity, power and analog flavor.

Songs like “Euphoria within Chaos” and the title track “Remains of a Dead World” showcase and deliver massive riffs and ethereal melodies, the new singer Konstantinos Togas really fits with the new material and proves to be one of the best singers to front Nightrage with his intense performance, combining brutality and melodicism on his amazing vocals.

“A Throne Of Melancholy” and “Persevere Through Adversity” it’s big arena rock type of songs with huge choruses, that gives you great hooks and melodies, feelings that can stay forever in your mind, where “Nocturnal Thorns” and “Dark Light” it’s definitely a journey into more mystical and eerie musical stories, that are interesting and showcase a more progressive and dark side of the band.

Marios Iliopoulos and Magnus Soderman, have once again managed to create such great songs, working together for the fourth time as a sweet songwriting team, their chemistry is unparalleled and this album is proof of great songwriting and team effort.
Francisco Escalona bring the low-end section of the band with dynamic precision, and a heavy dose of energy to head bang till whiplash.

The album concept once again talks about the tragedy of our actions against the world and ourselves, now we can clearly see the consequences of our actions, and what’s left is only the remains of a sad and miserable cosmos, a dead world that we’ve blindly created for ourselves.

Are we able to learn from our past mistakes and tragedies?

The various songs on the album also touch other subjects thematically.
Like we should never stop learning and become better, learning from our life experiences.

The fact that we are part of a dystopian world system under a technologically developed world we have seen the birth of a new kind of global ruler.

About the inner struggle for personal and spiritual freedom that many people face without even knowing it most of the time.

How people are nowadays, fighting their own ego all the time, and doing the worst things possible to each other under the name of fake friendship.

Also the fact that no matter how many times we are down, we need always to find the inner power to stand up and face our fears and live our life for what it is, with courage and patience, with no darker corners and no agendas.

OVERTORTURE was formed in the second half of 2011 by Magnus Martinsson (lead guitar), Fredrik Widigs (drums), Joel Fornbrant (vocals) and Jonas Torndal (bass), known from bands like Grave, Coldworker, Demonical, The Ugly and Witchery. The group immediately sat out to unleash their own brand of heavy yet semi-melodic death metal upon the unsuspecting masses.

In October, after a period of intense songwriting, the ensemble put the finishing touches on eleven demo tracks and started looking around for label interest. Of the demo songs, only a rough version of ”Slaves To the Atom” ever saw a public release, but nonetheless managed to raise some interest in the burgeoning death metal troop.

The following months were spent tweaking the songs and putting some away for future use, as well as writing a couple of new ones. At this point the ensemble felt that the gathered material was indeed strong enough for a full album release. Yet some issues still needed resolving, like filling the vacant second guitarist position as well as finding the right label.

Headway was finally made in March of 2012, when Andreas Hemmander, previous band mate of Martinsson’s, joined OVERTORTURE as second guitarist, thus completing the lineup. An album deal was shortly afterwards inked with Apostasy Records, and Overtorture was now ready to take the next step on the path out of obscurity: Recording their first album.

Said and done, the group cut their debut effort, sinisterly dubbed ”At the End the Dead Await”, during May and June of 2012. Produced by the band itself, the album was recorded at several locations before being handed over to Ola Englund of Six Feet Under/The Haunted for mixing and mastering. The album cover was made by the talented Gustav Germann, who had also previously worked with OVERTORTURE in designing the bands logo. Containing ten songs of both brutality and catchiness, the effort was scheduled for an early 2013 release.

In the fall of 2012, unexpected change came to the OVERTORTURE camp in form of the departure of bass player Jonas Torndal, who felt he did not have the time to commit fully to the band. He was replaced Joakim Antman, who also played with drummer Fredrik Widigs in The Ugly. With the release of ”At the End the Dead Await” just around the corner, as well as a Stockholm debut gig supporting the mighty Hypocrisy, OVERTORTURE is dead set on cementing its place in the legacy of Swedish death metal. The rest is history of a time to come…

We are Another Hell, a band from Nowhere in the north of Sweden. Another Hell is Kristoffer Englund, guitar/vocals, Jim Edström, bass, Henrik "Samu" Samuelsson, percussion, and Olof Gardeström, lead guitar. We play what we've dubbed rust metal, a progressive mix of sludge and groove metal.

For Re-Amping Heiko uses the Overloud TH2 and Markbass and the IK Mulitmedia Amplitube (Custom Shop) Plugins and the Line6 POD Farm 2 for Vintage Mic Preamps.

For the drums Heiko works with Toontracks Superior Drummer (with Metal Machine) and the fantastic EZDrummer2  for songwriting.

for orchestral sounds Heiko uses IK Multimedia's Miroslav Phiharmonik and for piano sounds Toontracks EZKeys Grand Piano

The Daw is Cubase 5 with Edirol MA-15D Monitors.

For mixing and Mastering Heiko uses mainly Waves Audio, Toontrack's EZMix2 and MeldaProduction Plugins
