This is the song about Messy Bastard, who was a man living  somewhere in the Wild West many years ago. He was a dropout, misunderstood by people in a small society, where he was born. All he wanted to do was walking his own way, with a horse by his side, travelling from one town to another, playing songs about the wind howling through the rocks, rain that never comes and star constellations shining bright in the sky above the desert at night. He was unaccepted by the majority and on the outs with society. But he didn't care ;)
