Side-project électro-ambient de Johann Guillon (membre fondateur et multi-instrumentiste du mythique groupe EZ3kiel), Zero Gravity se caractérise par une approche envoûtante, à la fois sombre et lumineuse d’une musique électronique organique, céleste et hypnotique, riche en textures synthétiques des plus somptueuses. 

Son premier single Floating Points, sorti le 15 juillet 2020 sur le label Slab Note, a posé les fondations d’un futur album spectral, émotionnel. Le 26 février 2021, il dévoile Une Très Légère Oscillation. Un second titre qui nous incite à jouir de chaque instant, à s’extasier devant le vivant. Un morceau évolutif et vaporeux qui alterne phases de puissances et envolées mystiques. Deux singles dont le relief est inspiré de nombreux contrastes, essence même de la musique de Zero Gravity. 

Aujourd’hui, son troisième single The Song Of Marcella confirme définitivement son approche contrastée de la musique électronique. Un titre qui fait référence à la géniale série britannique Marcella et surtout à l’héroïne de ce thriller psychologique, une femme détective à la double personnalité aussi fascinante que glaçante. Zero Gravity nous offre ici un titre à l’image de Marcella, mental, déroutant et cérébral. The Song Of Marcella prend la forme d’un voyage introspectif poignant, un mélange subtil d’ambiances atmosphériques, d’ambient et de textures synthétiques électroniques. Un morceau à la fois sombre et lumineux qui nous rappelle la complexité et la beauté de l’être humain et de ses émotions. Zero Gravity nous fait perdre nos repères pour nous amener à une réflexion et une exploration intérieure. The Song Of Marcella nous fait définitivement naviguer en eaux troubles au gré de nos émotions.

Kaïma, artist from Angers (FR), is influenced by dub, electro, hip hop, world...
Djembefola since 20 years and guitarist, he composes, samples and experiments with different instruments and machines.

He began to present his project in 2009 in the Pays de la Loire region in various bars and festivals such as the FACE Festival, the Tempo Rives Festival in Angers or in Limoges for the Festival Détraqués, the Festival Canasson in Vendée, Festival K -Play at La Roche/Yon, the Michelet Scene in Nantes and other events such as Urban Jungle nights at Chabada/Angers.

In 2014 (and 2019) he began a tour on the island of Reunion for a month to present his project; Back from this rewarding journey he comes back with a lot of energy and released his first EP on September 12, 2014. 

Creator of the label @Beatsandsounds in 2015, two compilations have been released to date and a third planned for this year, they aim to promote independent French artists.

Kaïma will open the ball by releasing an EP on his label in 2022, other EP will follow from different artists of the French independent scene.
