I wrote this song, “Where Do We Go When We Die?”, to explore the blurred line between beauty and brutality—starting with a surreal, dreamlike piano section inspired by Jeff Buckley’s haunting falsetto and poetic abstraction. It drifts through fragile imagery and emotional decay, asking quiet, impossible questions. As the song builds, it collapses into a violent black metal breakdown, symbolizing the terror of confronting death with no answers. It ends the way it began—empty, vulnerable, and echoing into silence.
