So I declare the merry month of May to be "Musical May" (as in song, dance and play).

Starting with a song that probably needs no introduction.

"All the Things You Are" is a song composed by Jerome Kern with lyrics written by Oscar Hammerstein II.
The song was written for the musical Very Warm for May in 1939.

Joining me is mezzo-soprano Bethan Morris, and we're accompanied by harpist Eilian Gwynn.

Well, were back beside the Irish Sea in Gorey, County Wexico (Wexford is South of Dublin 😆) after a wonderful week in Galway out West. It's such an amazing county. I had only ever visited there as a tourist to sightsee and get drunk at stags etc etc
This time I got to live there in my buddies house in the country side for 8 days.

Galway is a county in the province of Connaught on the West Coast of Ireland. Being from the East I tend to be drawn to sun rise more then sunset so I was looking forward to the West side sunsets. We didn't have an horizon of Sea but a wonderful tree line and foreground of rolling fields and Galways limestone walls dividing the farmlands was amazing to see. When the cloud cover lifted for two of the evenings Sunset was really epic.

The weather is very changeable given it's proximity to the Atlantic but that is well acceptable when you see the beauty of the land around.

Galway is well worth a visit as is Mayo just north of it also in the province of Connaught. Both counties possess very unique characters to their sights, sounds, people and shared wildlife 💚🧬
