So I put this together just before I went to Luminosity. Been wanting to do a hard set for a while. So here is 2 1/2 hours of some of the finest hard tracks around. Hope you enjoy it(if you like it hard of course lol).

Day 17 takes us back into my unfinished 2024 album era.

This track was written for Transmission Poland in 2023, and it has one of the craziest memories attached to it. The main melody and drop were changed literally 15 minutes before I left home for the train station to catch my train to Gdansk. That spontaneous version ended up being the one I played and the one that shaped this track’s identity.

Like many D19 pieces from that period, the album it belonged to never materialized, so the track stayed locked away.

But today it’s finally escaping the vault.

DISCO19 - Esoteric [2023] [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Time for a true classic.

During the pandemic in 2021, I revisited one of trance history’s most exceptional classics: B.B.E.’s “7 Days & 1 Week.” But instead of going uplifting or nostalgic, I took it somewhere deeper and darker with pulsating 133 bpm hypnotic techno trance vibe.

I wanted to keep the original’s atmosphere intact, but translate that longing into something more mechanical, introspective, isolated, the way that time felt back in 2021.

This version was never intended for release. It lived only in my private playlists and today it finally escapes the archive.

Day 19 marks a special moment for me.

This was the last thing I wrote during my full trance era before closing that chapter in 2020.

I always wanted to pay tribute to one of the most iconic vocals in dance music history: "Fine Day.”

The result was a 140 BPM energetic and very melodic remix - the sound many of you know me for. A lot of people asked about this one, but it never left my hard drive.

Today it finally sees daylight.

When I got back from the UnKonscious beach festival in Thailand earlier this year, season 3 of ‘White Lotus’ had just begun..which is set in Thailand - so we absolutely loved the show and got right into it! But it’s the theme track of the show that really grabbed me, the way that it switches up halfway through and goes all dark & twisted and kinda ‘psy’..but still uplifting. It gave me major goosebumps so I knew that I had to do my own rework!

I've recreated a lot of the parts, but tried to stay as close to the original as I could!

We are 3 weeks in and day 21 continues the journey into the DISCO19 vault once more.

“Tana” was written for my debut Transmission 2023 Poland set. Built on a deep hypnotic groove driven by African vocal textures and slow-burning melodic tension.
This was one of the core elements of the unreleased album project, which never materialized, so the track stayed locked away on my hard drive.

Today it finally comes out of hiding.

I've been a huge fan of Chase & Status ever since I remixed their track 'Blind Faith' a good few years ago..so as soon as I heard their track 'Backbone' with Stormzy, I knew right away that I had to remix this as well..but under my 'Dark Sherry' hard techno alias! 😈
I also wanted to make something that was really fast and crazy to play as my closing track in my 'Dark Sherry' set at Luminosity Events in the summer earlier this year - so this is what I came up with!

It was made purely as a secret weapons for my sets starting with mighty Transmission Poland 2023 show.

Yorkshire hard trance legend Jason Rayne has been spinning tracks since 1995. Although hard trance is my speciality I am very versatile in what trance genre I play as I can play all if not most of the genres. It all started at house parties,  where I first started mixing on vinyl. He loved the hard house sounds of the underground and the 90’s rave scene. My inspiration came from the ultimate hard house legend Tony De Vit then later Lisa lashes, Anne Savage, BK, and The Tidy Boys, 

After a 15yr break, i decided to dust off my decks and get back to what I loved doing best. One of my achievement was to close a set at Fortify where I filled the dance floor with my newly found bosh style tunes. My latest inspirations are David Forbes, Sneijder, Bryan Kearney, Simon Patterson, Shugz and David Rust which can be heard through his hard hitting energetic sets. 

Having recently been made a resident DJ for trance brands UpRise and TranceJunkiez( Of which I now co own) and I have recently been made a resident for a brand new brand called Tranceformerz, huge things are to come from myself in the non to distant future.
