Denver-based producer ILLENIUM is one of the most successful crossover electronic artists today, topping the U.S. dance charts, garnering over 10 billion streams and headlining the world’s top festivals. 

Following his 2016 debut album, ‘Ashes,’ ILLENIUM broke into the mainstream via his 2017 album, ‘Awake,’ which includes his classics "Crawl Outta Love," "Fractures" and "Feel Good," with Gryffin ft. Daya. A critical and commercial success, ‘Awake’ topped the iTunes Top Electronic Albums Chart in 12 countries with +100M streams. 

In 2019, ILLENIUM released ‘Ascend,’ his third full-length album and his major label debut. BIG DATA is the paranoid pop brainchild of producer, Alan Wilkis. His music explores the relationship between man and machine, and the ways in which technology is reshaping the human experience, all with a healthy dose of distrust.

In 2014, BD made waves with the #1 alternative hit, “Dangerous (feat. Joywave),” which has since been certified Gold in the US and Canada, and with nearly 40M streams. Big Data’s 2015 debut album, 2.0, featured collaborations with Kimbra, Rivers Cuomo, Twin Shadow, and Jamie Lidell.

3.0 is the long-awaited upgrade from Big Data. In creating 3.0, Wilkis became obsessed with the subject of artificial intelligence and its many possible applications in our not-too-distant future. While AI may become humanity’s greatest achievement, it carries with it a potential risk that is both existential and irreversible… one of many reasons why experts refer to AI as our “final invention.” This tension is both fascinating and terrifying all at once, and it is the chief inspiration behind Big Data’s latest effort.

The fourth full-length from BROODS, Space Island is an exploration of grief and all its many dimensions. In keeping with the New Zealand-bred duo’s unfettered imagination—an element they’ve brought to multiple platinum-and gold-certified records so far—the album’s 10 tracks exist in a surprisingly radiant sonic realm, its aesthetic equally inspired by ’60s sci-fi B-movies and the balmy exotica of composers like Les Baxter.The most high-concept output yet from BROODS—a ten-time New Zealand Music Award-winning act who’ve amassed over a billion streams to date, collaborated with the likes of Lorde and Tove Lo, toured with HAIM and Taylor Swift, and taken the stage at major festivals such asCoachella and Lollapalooza—Space Island came to life during a period of serious upheaval for lead vocalist Georgia Nott. Having married at the age of 21, she went through a difficult divorce soon after the release of BROODS’ previous album Don’t Feed the Pop Monster(a 2019 effort that led to appearances on“Late Night with Seth Meyers” and“The Late Late Show with James Corden”). As Georgia turned to songwriting as a means of processing her grief, she and her brother/bandmate Caleb Nott discovered an unlikely but wholly fitting vessel for that emotional outpouring: the album’s gorgeous constellation of otherworldly beats, swooning guitar tones, and effervescent synth lines.
