I have always been fascinated by the universe and I wanted to transmit these feelings through a musical voyage depicting my vision of space.

For the first show of the year 2023, Andrømeda invites an artist from her home city in Poland, Wrocław. 

Vi is a resident of Ciało, member of SLAP collective and host of her own event AURA. She has presented her selections in some of the most important clubs and festivals in Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic, as well as HÖR and the legendary Tresor in November 2022. 

Xplore 006 features a 30 minute warm up set by Andrømeda followed by a one hour exclusive mix by Vi on Threads Radio.

For the 7th edition of XPLORE, Andrømeda travels further afield, inviting a special guest all the way from Buenos Aires. 

Dokser is a highly respected DJ and producer hailing from Argentina. Passionate about production, he is in a constant search for ways of creating new sounds, releasing on labels like Be As One Imprint , Uncage, Intacto Records and Trax Records in Chicago. Since moving to Barcelona 20 years ago, he has created his own unique style which cannot be placed into a specific category. Not afraid of experimenting and breaking boundaries, he takes audiences on a journey to unthinkable places with his mixes, productions and live acts.🪐

Andrømeda is a DJ and producer originating from Poland, born in the Middle East, who now calls Barcelona her home after moving from London 3 years ago. She has quickly become a recognised name in the local music scene, regularly performing at some of the top clubs in the city.

Andrømeda’s sound, inspired by acid, electro, Detroit, and 90’s Techno, is both rich and diverse in its musicality. Her unique track selection crafts a compelling narrative, taking listeners on a cosmic journey through the depths of electronic music. Her sets, which range from groovy and hypnotic to dark and powerful, often reflect old-school rave ethos by blending genres and transcending boundaries.

A key figure in the UK queer techno scene, Andrømeda is a resident DJ at the iconic FOLD in London. Her memorable vinyl sets at illegal warehouse raves in 2018 cemented her status as one of the city's most in-demand performers. Since then, she has performed alongside some of the industry's most esteemed artists, featuring in showcases for MORD, Monnom Black, and Natural Selection.
With over a decade of experience, Andrømeda stands out as an exceptional performer with a keen ability to read the room and deliver precisely what the audience needs. Whether she's warming up the dance floor or closing out the night, her meticulous track selection never fails to impress. Her commanding energy behind the decks is infectious, as she takes full control and guides the crowd with unwavering focus.

In recent years, Andrømeda has also gained recognition for her production skills, with a growing discography and releases on labels such as Natural Selection, Laburnum and Mhost Likely. Her debut EP "Invictum” which was released on Raw Quarter in 2023, received positive feedback from industry luminaries, serving as a testament to her vision and talent.

Hosting a bi-monthly show “Xplore” on Threads Radio, Andrømeda invites artists from around the world to perform and showcase their sound on the airwaves. She continues to expand her reach with regular performances at clubs and festivals across Europe, constantly pushing the boundaries of her artistry.

This set holds a special place in my heart. UNFOLD is like home to me, a space where I’ve had the privilege of performing and growing as an artist for the past 6 years. The energy in the room made the experience truly unforgettable and I’m so excited to share this recording.

Amnesia '86: 
Straight, gay, bi-sexual, young, old, black, white, brown, trendy, hippie.. such a diverse mixture of people had never been seen under the same roof( or lack of roof rather). The common denominator that bound it all together- the music…as provided by DJ Alfredo Fiorito. 

Of course, in those days, and before the House Revolution took place, the soundtrack to any club was on the whole much more varied... On your average night, you’d be as likely to hear salsa as rock and roll, Bob Marley as Luccio, Madonna or Tears for Fears. One could describe it as a total Mumbo Jumbo, a mad medley of all that was, indeed, is, great music straining up and out of the club and into the sky above. Throughout those first two years the reputation of the club and its sound grew not only on the island but also internationally. 

Amnesia soon became the best after club in the world. The crowd grew weekly, transferring their socializing from Ku (now known as Privilege) to Amnesia to form an intrinsic part of never before witnessed scenes of wild and carefree fun in the sun- glasses on, dancing in the sunny open air terrace that became the legend we all know today. 

To celebrate this, the next Sameheads C60 tape cassette release will be a special, as yet unheard live Dj mix recorded at Amnesia during Alfredo's early years there. This will be available to buy at the door and the Sameheads shop thereafter.

Jasmin has been involved in the electronic music scene since 2010. She has made appearances on stages alongside renowned artists such as Marshall Jefferson, Derrick May, Paul Kalkbrenner, Kerri Chandler, Carl Craig,  Marco Carola, Laura Jones, Kate Simko and Bloody Mary to name a few. In 2013, she started running her own event Housewife London with the aim of reinventing the scene by bringing back the classic sound of Chicago House and Detroit Techno as well as promoting female talent in the music industry.
