Starring: Heavenly Father, Otter, Kial, Sonido Berzerk, Smokefade, 5AM, Stoik, ARKON, Asix, Psychic Driving, Zeta & Glen Feasey. AJNA, was a legendary weekly after hours event hosted in downtown San Diego, CA from January 2012 to September 2013. We summoned like minded individuals to awaken their third eye chakra called the "AJNA". This was a special kind of event in San Diego where intuition played a part in the creation of these underground gatherings. The late nights were fueled with music served up by surprise local and international touring DJs. Some of the best DJ line ups were planned last minute by the universal alignment of artist collaborations from multiple parties merging in the late night hours. This compilation is a collection of producers from around the world delivering a variety of bass music, breakbeats, trap, glitch, halftime, deep dubs, hip hop, juke, electronica and tech house. The genres of music on this LP capture similarities to what the format was like at AJNA. This album is a tribute to the memory of the amazing vibes that were created by so many artists that performed for the love of the underground. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to that experience... This album is dedicated to them!

Portland, Maine based group Gater comes correct with their jazzy, livetronica EP “Neoterik”. Multi-instrumentation is the name of the game, with electronic elements meshing neatly with traditional accompaniment. The four songs pour in like raindrops on a late summer’s night. Each track has its own distinct flavor, yet shares in the uniting aesthetic of funky bass, sparkling synths, and upbeat grooves. The trio manage to avoid the age old trap of jam band noodling, instead filling each moment with consistently intelligent riffs and phrases. Presented as a free/pay-what-you-want album through the fine folks at Gravitas Music, this release serves as an excellent debut for Gater while simultaneously inspiring confidence for their future offerings.
