My set from Shambhala 2022 during a perfect hot lazy Sunday afternoon with many happy ravers dipping in the river and enjoying the absolute majesty of the alchemy and bliss that emerges over so many years of gathering at Salmo River Ranch. There were many sets on many different occasions at the Living Room which inspired Baby Mandai and it's always a dream come true to return and play on that very stage. Endless gratitude to Mike & Sarah for holding it down for the family for decades and having the kind thought to invite me to play. This ranch is on land that is the traditional territory of the Ktuanxa, Syilx and Snixit people and I am grateful for the opportunities to have celebrated, healed and learned on it.

It was a movie 100%

I can't thank Camp Questionmark enough for welcoming me in. I had so much fun bringing the weird vibes with such an amazing crew of like-minded talented individuals. I am so inspired for the future! I wish I could've brought my dear friends to this magical place with me. 

I wanted to take this opportunity to take my friends with me to the playa, even tho they weren't physically there. I am surrounded by many bass producers who have been putting out some amazing tracks lately. To show them I am proud of them and that I love them, I made sure to play tracks from my local producer friends here in DFW, and some other artists I have had the pleasure of making friendships with along the way. Music brings us all together. I wanted to ensure their music was heard on a proper sound system in an environment where it could be the most appreciated.

The last song is dedicated to all of my friends who couldn't be there, especially Danielle Daffodil <3

The future is bright, and together, we are about to create so much bass from the underground, that the earth will shake. <3

[ I saw Incubus at Toyota Musc Factory in DFW Texas the day I got back from Burning Man. It was wild hearing them play this song live and singing it with everyone in the crowd, just thinking about how I played it for everyone at Burning Man in this set. What is life?! Wild, I love it. Unision!! Woowwww what an absolute gift. I don't think I have happy-cried so much in one weekend. I felt like myself for the first time in 18 months. So much magic happened - including the birth of this beautiful collab with my friends Tanner Forest (Ximer) and Morgan Nilson (Mayvn).

This set reflects the journey of returning to self. Its a dynamic journey ranging from deep electrosoul and heavy bass to afrohouse and uplifting global beats.

There are times in life when the universe shakes the snow globe - and I had been deep in one of those times. All the sudden I lost my sense of self, my dignity, my self worth...I felt so distant from my friends...it was all very confusing. I was immersed in the void. Lost. 

So I decided to take a two-month pause from social media and DJing. I traveled to New York and Costa Rica to surround myself with my family and people who knew me on a very deep level. At Unison, I was reunited with my Moab family and my roommates whom I lived with. All of these beautiful souls recognized me on a deep level and reflected back who I was. They reflected back so much love and care and abundance that my little heart could no longer hold onto the stories I was telling myself. 

As I performed this set - I felt everything solidify. I was right where I needed to be. I was brought back to Unison.

I'll need more time but I fee like I've reached a turning point and received the clarity I needed to set the healing process in motion.

Journey Back to Self: Unison 2025

Enjoy my Unison Beach Stage 2025 set! I started the set with sacred intention that gently opens the listener into a house groove. The heat of the set turns up with tribal rhythms, climbing through euphoric peaks of progressive house, and then wraps you up with juicy, feel-good tracks made to leave you glowing as the night winds down. Live @ Mystique II October 2025

Jason Clayton is ignited by musical storytelling, with love for connecting self and community, through sound and movement. Experimenting with levels of emotion and energetic curiosity, Jason plays with a progressive sense, building and exploring blissful drops, powerful synths, organic tones, and global sounds. He pulls from an eclectic music palate, genre-blending and fluid in styles, tending to the curation of vibrational relevance to each set produced. His innate ability to channel collective resonance, and capture the space on a journey, is his magic.

Jason has a musical background that draws from playing piano and guitar since childhood, growing up on hip-hop and rock, and hefty time logged on dance floors across the world. Based out of Moab, Utah, heavily involved in community building and event production that ranges from larger festivals, to intimate desert gatherings and ecstatic dance events. He DJs the regional festival circuit and underground frequently, whilst making reoccurring appearances in the iconic scenes of Mexico, South East Asia, and his playa home of Burning Man. Jason is driven with a passion for fostering intentionally woven spaces that are inclusive, conscious, connecting, and sustainable.
