The Wish Asylum is the handle for Jason Dressner and his collaborators.  Dressner is influenced by various genres and subgenres as well as lyricists, visual artists and literary works. There are a few artists and bands that are constant influences.  Trent Reznor, David Bowie, 311, Pearl Jam, Zac Brown Band, Black Sabbath, Bob Marley, John Lennon.  The list goes on and on.
