I'm 46 years old started writing short stories to myself when I was 9 had started writing poetry in the joint , my mother died in 2016 and I found this Rapfame app so I started experimenting with learning to sing and rap, writing comes comfortably quick to me as I have a very active imagination, that paints pictures in my mind , Yella Wolf is my biggest inspiration to me because he's Roll tide and he sings about down home problems and pains, We have some things in common like the same birthday and my mother was 3 quarters Cherokee,Creek, but i don't compare myself to him, I'm not trying to be him or could I ever be that talented, I love all Southern artist I like the twang and the bluesy lyrics and verses.But I'm not saying that I don't like other artists I'm just loyal to where I come from ,2 pac and Biggie ,Bone thugs, Eminem, ice cube,NwA,Dre, and Snoop, too short, it short terms I love all music , I'm a bigger Metal head than anything else I know normal White boy shit. The 80,s and 90 where fucking awesome, The worst part of them times and also these times to was loosing so many Artist that seemed like they were singing just for me, cause I felt every word.I understand them which is my downfall, I've struggled with addiction my entire life but I fight the good fight, I have a heart big enough to love the entire world just have problems loving myself, I'm sorry if you can relate. Then you also understand why music for us is so important, but since I have been learning and trying to teach myself how to do this, Has really really changed me as a whole, I'm expressing my feelings to everyone,it's easy when you don't have to feel the judgement in someone's eyes that your speaking your pains to, My anger had dropped, I've changed my beliefs that I was taught which is my greatest accomplishment,to be honest I was taught hate ,to be a racist, I was taught that respect was taken not earned, I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of I've hurt people, I've sold drugs, I've stolen things, I've cheated, and I turned my back on Jesus , Writing and singing brought me back to who I really am inside, and that is non violent, caring ,understanding, and forgive everyone that's what Jesus does, I don't walk a perfect path, but my heart is Good, I want the world to smile, That's my dream , for the world to be happy. It's a steep order, but hey everyone has to have a dream right, may God bless all of you, and keep jamming music heals!
