Some things we say...and they stay.
Things Granted...but we take anyway
Our love is a cemetery of the statements we make
Like wine woman and the working song
The right way and the Long Gone
Stupid things we said too loud
The difference between down. And Out

There are things that we believed in. Thing that we cant speak too.
A war was fought. But no one knew.

Eleven words, 42 letters, brought down the beast and it stayed down forever
Should have stopped calling when the wheels came off. Should have stopped calling, But thats not us.

I love you I hate you I love to hate you.
I hate you I love you I hate to love you.
I cut down the Moon. And I hung us two.

Just like the old ways. All those bad days.  The old trade. The grey parade.
It was a proud work ethic we displayed.
