For our first podcast we decided to document the phenomenal success of the Newcastle -Upon-Tyne  branch of Nasty Women, a global art movement that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights.

The podcast was recorded in front of a live (and extremely enthusiastic)
 audience, at Byker Community Centre on Friday 5th of May, 2017, and features interviews from artists, organizers and audience members, plus music and poetry.

Song Idea 1

An album of experimental, strange, silly and very varied recordings and compositions I created and completed when I was at college and doing my degree in education. Recordings date from around 1988 to 1994, and feature several collaborations with friends Peter Allsopp, Terry Glover, Micky Balls, Gary Smith and others. I was inspired at the time by Frank Zappa, and I think that's rather evident in some of the music I was writing and recording at the time.
