Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio Chris’ DJ career started at the young age of 17 in a hotel bar. Being underage and how that happened is a long but fascinating story but we’ll fast forward to 2018 when he moved to Columbus, Ohio to start a new chapter in his life.
CRUIZE began shortly before his move and that party later evolved into what we know today as FEVER.
FEVER is a monthly (4th Saturday) Queer focused, all-inclusive event at AWOL Bar where Disco, House and Techno reign supreme. Its old – its new and everything in between. When I asked Chris why this night is so important to him he simply replied “I basically wanted to create a safe space for my friends to dance to the music they love…a place for them to just be themselves…its crucial to keep music from yesterday alive especially in a time when 1000 dance songs are released every week”.
This year Chris added a new resident DJ, Melanie Pagani to the roster who we heard on the first installment of the FEVER Mix Series.
Here is Chris’ take on the night he created. It’s a blend of all the genres and sounds he loves going way, way back…a third of the way into the mix he pulls out a couple Tribal America tracks – a label that had a significant influence on him in the mid 90’s.

Taking trends, making trends and breaking trends, Josh Wink’s music has always experimented and influenced. The sound of Josh Wink today remains one of a man unafraid to walk the border between stylistic boundaries. His remix discography of over 25 years includes seminal artists such as Radiohead, Moby, Sting, Depeche Mode, Radioslave, and Dave Clarke, to name a few.

Wink also runs his own label, Ovum Recordings, which is in its 28th year of existence.

A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

I took the decks in 1995 during the vibrant years of the Midwest Rave scene.
After moving to Cleveland in 2000, I was given the opportunity to become a resident at Mercury Lounge and Twist Social Club from 2000-2010.

In 2016, I was looking for an creative outlet and founded Cleveland Week:ender, a series meant to create an immersive underground party experience. 

As a producer, I strive to write music that I can play, nothing else. Deep and atmospheric, yet driving and energetic.
