From disco to house, ANKA takes you into a world of funky and groovy sounds. They love retro classics and bouncy bassy bangers. For this guest mix, they have combined retro 80s-inspired breakbeat with indie dance.

As part of the feminist network "fem*vak" and the Leipzig (Germany) collective "Italo Fundamentalo", they organize the queer FLINTA party series "Disco Sprizz". For them, music is liberation and self-empowerment. Influenced by ballroom culture, they curate colorful and cross-genre sets - their aim is to heat up the dance floor and make people happy! <3

PDU Guest Mix 38 - ANKA

Big thanks to the Cunning Stunts crew for inviting me along to play at Nudge Nudge Wink Wink sharing the booth with great selectors Dj Danu, Dale Stephen and Lord Sut. Here's my set from Saturday - I had a great time and hope you enjoy the set as much as I did playing it and putting it together 

Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is more than a party; it's a FUNdraiser, providing essential connection, charitable support, and a warming of spirit for all who attend.  Their events continue with their unwavering commitment to support locally based registered NFPs that are making a profound impact in our communities during these challenging times.
For their May & June events they are donating to the Dharma Care Winter Warmer campaign, which aims to raise $75k for four amazing local community groups and drop-in centres: all of which are helping people experiencing or at risk of homelessness across Tweed and Byron Shires. 

Cunning Stunts have donated $407,603 so far, helping 39 local
charities since December 2015. Funds are donated to locally based registered NFP’s assisting our communities during these challenging times.
