My strongest musical influence has to be Stevie Wonder. His impact on Soul, R&B, Funk, Pop & Electronica is impossible to ignore. As I write this on his 73rd birthday - I'm listening to our funky re-work of his classic "My Cherie Amour". The music for this remix comes courtesy of my good mate, amazing keyboard player, artist & co-host of The Groovadelica podcast -  Karl Benton - a.k.a Soul Prophet. This project came about after I heard Karl's instrumental track and suggested he blend it with "My Cherie Amour" as part of our Groovadelica Undercover series of re-imagined Soul music classics. After months of Karl re-writing, playing, programming and me mixing & blending, we're pretty happy with the result. And what better day to make it  available as a free download than Stevie's birthday.
