Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have done it again, this time with the incredible new track ‘G.Y.P.S.Y.’, co-produced with rising Italian duo Boostedkids (Dany Spada and Frankinelli) and set for world wide release on Smash The House on November 11th.

The single, which originally debuted as part of the official Tomorrowland 2013 After Movie, is a sensational blend of traditional gypsy music, haunting flutes, wind and string instruments which are juxtaposed to perfection against a thundering, driving, sexy-as-hell beat absolutely brimming with funk – guaranteed to bring the biggest of houses crashing down as it powers out of international speaker systems.

News of ‘G.Y.P.S.Y.’s imminent release comes just days after the announcement of the pair’s forthcoming collaboration with Borgeous and DVBBS, ‘Stampede’ (due November 18th on Spinnin’ Records), and signals the sheer volume of music set to come out from the Belgian brothers over the coming months. Absolutely prolific inside the studio and out – as their huge rise to the #6 position in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Chart proved only last week – Dimitri and Mike look set to turn the heat up even higher as they focus their attention towards 2014.

Smashing open onto the festival scene, first in their home of Belgium and beyond, D’Angello & Francis have gone on to craft carnage-inducing releases via Smash The House including ‘All Aboard’ ‘Kings’ and ‘Victorum’. With a global merger of sounds ranging from the Belgian duo Wolfpack’s boisterous big room, to the German influx of Jaxx & Vega’s racing house and R3spawn’s finessed electro, ‘Kalinka’ impressively draws together  a stylistic production that will dominate livesets and playlists for the coming months. Launching off with a double-time beat that acts as the foundation for layers of rattling, punchy low-ends and shooting synths, a teaser of a melody comes in before the breakdown enlists an ever-increasing, speeding loop of horns project forth to make audiences stand to attention.

Wasting no time in following up their recent smash collaborations ‘Clap Your Hands’ with W&W and Fedde Le Grand and ‘Raver Dome’ as 3 Are Legend alongside Steve Aoki, Justin Prime & Sandro Silva, the latest team up sees the Belgian brothers unite with psytrance heavyweights Vini Vici for ‘Get In Trouble (So What)’. The coming together of these musical juggernauts is as heavy as you’d expecting, combining both duos extensive knowledge in music production and ear for a hit to great effect, utilising a standout sample that elevates the track skywards.

A fighting chant builds towards the fast paced drop and sets the tone from the start, as clever use of LFO on a synth cranks up towards the first breakdown, which introduces the iconic vocal that is sure to whip fans into a frenzy. This is carried into the main break, where the familiar guitar lead joins the vocals before switching up to accommodate a high pitched lead that continues into the beat.
