Vega (AU) is a longtime electronic music enthusiast, hailing from Melbourne, Australia. His sound is a blend of deep grooves, blissful organic house fused with driving progressive and often with afro-melodic and tribal elements in order to create a worldly journey for his listener. He takes great influence from labels including All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Amulanga, The Soundgarden, 3rd Avenue, Be Adult Music, The Purr and Meanwhile Recordings, and is naturally drawn to track selections that evoke an emotive and atmospheric tone. 

Vega (AU) has appeared as guest mixer on numerous radio and streaming hosts including AATM Club Radio [UK], Radio Deep [UK], Bondi Radio [AUS] and Sinergia [SVN], as well as gaining monthly residencies at some of Melbourne's most popular bar offerings including the Ibiza themed 'Arbory Afloat' and the intimate 'Music Room' at HER Bar as a member of @floatingdreamsmusic, where he has had the opportunity to play alongside some industry greats including Sébastien Léger, Double Touch [All Day I Dream], Weird Sounding Dude [Anjunadeep / The Soundarden], GMJ & Matter [Meanwhile Recordings], Kasey Taylor [Vapour Recordings, Sudbeat].

Doogie Mustard - Progressive Epidemic - September 2023

Javier Laporte was born in Jujuy, Argentina. DJ/Producer. In the year 2022 he begins to sign his music to international record labels such as Ah Digital, Future Avenue, BCSA, Droid9SA, Another Life Music and Session Road. Javier stands out for having hypnotic and emotional sounds. His influences when producing come from different genres and personal tastes such as Deep House, Organic House, Trip Hop, Reggae Dub, Trance and scene artists such as Alex Orion and Juan Deminicis ,  to name a few, and the highest Argentine reference Hernan Cattaneo. 

In the year 2023 he has done remixes for artists like Kay D, James Halon, Smirre and Victor Crain, he also managed to enter the beatport charts in the best hype progressive house with his Ep Señales released on the Swiss label Another Life Music, an EP that features remixes by Lucas Patyn and Lavieu au Soleil.

Currently his music has the support of Mike Griego, Rocio Portillo and many other artists and record labels who want to work with Javier. His versatility when it comes to producing has led him to make a remix for the deep house artist Matthieu B and he has managed to win a remix contest that will be published on the Plastic City label.

VEGA (AU) is a longtime electronic music enthusiast and DJ with a flair for sophisticated sounds that delve into earthy organic and afro house percussions, to soulful deep/lounge and jazz house grooves, vibrant nu-disco, as well as ranging in atmospheric melodic, breakbeat and progressive house. 

Based in Melbourne, Australia, his sound has been influenced over the years from iconic labels including Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Large Music and Be Adult Music and is naturally drawn to track selections that evoke an emotive and atmospheric tone.

He has played in several of Melbournes' sought after nightspots including my aeon, Howler, Top Yard, and Brown Alley, where he has made support appearances on Anjunadeep event linups for artists such as Nox Vahn and CRi. Vega (AU) previously held monthly residencies at some of Melbourne's top venues including the balearic summer river bar 'Arbory Afloat' and the intimate 'Music Room' at HER Bar as a member of @floatingdreamsmusic. 

Floating Dreams are a collective of five passionate DJs who specialise in DJing and hosting organic, melodic and deep house centric events in Melbourne. Over the past several years, the group has funded and held a series of day party and evening events at Brunswick's Howler, with headline artists including Anjunadeep's Dee Montero, Blake. 08 and M.O.S., as well as Double Touch [All Day I Dream].
