We've taken an overnight flight to the UK, and a prolific South West based DJ/Remixer/Producer AND Event promoter. Famed for his epic long sets on Mixcloud that kept everyone happy during Covid, we are delighted to welcome him back behind our decks, for his second mix in just over 2 years. A South Coast based Progressive/Techno DJ and producer, Erik's love affair with electronic music started shortly after he was born. "Music was always being played in the house but it was the long car journeys during the school holidays with Jarre playing that really cemented my love of electronic music."

Having taken up DJ-ing in the early 90's, these skills earned him gigs all over the country from clubs to festivals. Erik hosts the burgeoning Studio 3 Sessions via the Mixcloud Live platform with extended sets that take the listeners on a journey down the sonic rabbit hole every week, as well as  hosting monthly shows on Frisky and Mixpub. 

Equally at home in the studio, Erik’s productions have garnered support from DJs across the spectrum, from Nick Warren to Umek, Cristian Varela to Lexicon Avenue. This year has seen Erik remixing tracks for both Prognosis and Arbor Recordings as well as remixing a track by Meat Katie for Lowering the Tone. 

Taking in everything from deep house to techno, progressive trance to spaced out breaks, Erik's sets are a melting pot of lush soundscapes and haunting melodies sitting side by side with techno beats and energy infused basslines.

- Mr Vladi Calavera is a Mexican Dj who has been traveling around the world collecting treasures, and one of the must importance, it's music.... He is an artist with a strong and unique profile , is dedicated to fashion photography ; It works for the North American edition of the magazine Decoded , as photo editor , features collaborations with Hernan Cattaneo, Marcelo Vasami, Cid inc, Darin Epsilon, Alejandro Manso and Natural Flow among others. DJ has consolidated his career through the various residences in cities around the world , what has led him to acquire a great experienceand a refined taste for electronic music. He has a show on Radio Webphré every week called "Nocturne" and is resident DJ in the ''So What! Radioshow'' in Quebec alongside great personalities like Julie Petrecca, Decker//, Pascal B, Big Pack, Dj Cyme and Micky Mental.

"Resilient Echoes: A Journey Through Shadows and Light" is a DJ mix/soundscape that encapsulates the emotional rollercoaster of overcoming grief and the profound process of reflecting on life.

This mix serves as a poignant expression of the raw emotions experienced during times of loss and the subsequent journey towards healing and self-discovery. I put it together to serve as a therapeutic medium. It acts as a guiding light, encouraging introspection, self-reflection, and ultimately, the discovery of inner strength and resilience. It serves as a reminder that even amidst the darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of hope and the potential for growth.

This mix is the result of my journey overcoming the loss of my brother last June. I started making it in times of darkness, as a means to express my emotions, and it grew over time into its current form. I never made it with the intention of anyone else hearing it, but somehow felt compelled to let others do so now.

As a DJ this is a how I tell a story, of loss and life, told the way I feel comfortable telling.

1 - Phat Phrog Studio - Sylvan Kingdom - Wildwood

A veteran of the Sydney dance music scene, DJ YoungJase was a name synonymous with Sydney club culture in the 90's and early 00's. Having crafted his skills in the days of acid house in the late 80's, Young Jase began his DJ internship in the early 90's rave days, creating a name for himself with a diverse mix of house/ techno. By the mid nineties Jase could be found at nearly every club and party in Sydney, and a regular fixture a legendary events such as Love, Film Flam, Fuzzy presents. & Tweekin'. Always pushing new sounds he was a key figure in the progressive house boom in the late 90's, and had developed a following as a unique risk taking DJ. He has supported many top international DJs including; Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Nick Warren, Henry Saiz & Basement Jaxx to name a few. 

In the mid 90's he fell in love with Drum N Bass, and, under the moniker DJ Pappa Jase, was the resident & co founder of the legendary Sydney drum n bass night "BassCode". The club was instrumental in shaping the drum n bass scene as it is today, and Pappa Jase was a pioneer of the genre known today as 'liquid drum n bass', supporting the like of Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, Marcus Intalex(RIP) & Seba.

Young Jase had semi retired by 2008, however still DJs under the moniker JYSN, and hosts a regular podcast "Earthtones"  focusing on the deep organic ethereal house sounds, in the vibe of All Day I Dream, The Soundgarden, Nordic Voyage etc.
