Formerly playing house under their alias stolz & trauzettel, Berlin-based Vilma and BKMN have played various gigs together, mostly at the infamous STAUB series at ://about blank, but also festivals including fusion and keine fische aber grethen. Vilma has been moving in a wide spectrum of warm and energetic house music since 2017. She is co-founder of the queerfeminist FLINTA* collective FORWARD and part of the about bridges not walls collective (abnw). BKMN also co-organizes abnw, and aside from his sets with Vilma, he is fascinated by the abstractness and direct energy of techno with hypnotic sounds, organic synths, and grainy textures.

About the mix:

"With this one, we aimed to record a podcast that creates a moving and bright space in our heads - ready to embrace this year's slowly warming spring. We start out with a track played by Octo Octa on the 2024 Nation of Gondwana that blew Vilma's mind. We build up the set's drive with tracks by Retromigration, Eris Drew, and Anz, to then crank up the energy towards almost technoish tracks, to then release the tension with a breaky one by Danny Goliger. Last, we close with a slight cheesy but very goosebumby track by Courtesy and Lyanne."
