The Toy Tonics army makes its debut this week on SOULMEEX PRO with his "Italianissimo" Sam Ruffillo.

The man behind the highly acclaimed Danza Organica, recently explained on an Instagram post his long path to success: twenty years making beats and arranging music with different aliases, around eight or nine different artistic projects, remix contests won and hard work plus consistency as the key of everything.

His music is very special indeed and we’re still trying to make up our mind if it is Italian disco, funky house, balearic…Or maybe all together at the same time.

What we know for sure is that we’re in front of a present and future star of electronic music.

That’s the reason why he’s caught the attention of many big names in the business, his gigs are increasing week by week and he’s been remixed already by the likes of Musumeci, Art of Tones or Eli Escobar. That, with just a few EPs released in Toy Tonics, Jakarta or Irma Records among others.

While we carefully observe his next steps in the wonderful world of electronic music, it’s time to have a ball with his SOULMEEX PRO 003.

Rose Robinson, emerged in the early 1990s, where rubbing Tiger Balm on one's temples was a customary way to extend a chemically-induced high. Now returning in human form, Tigerbalm, hailing from  south London, has been a professional DJ many years, renowned for her eclectic sound blending African, Latin, and global influences with modern electronic music. Formerly one half of Earthboogie, she's now pursuing a solo career under the moniker Tigerbalm, signing with Ubiquity and set to release her debut album "International Love Affair" in 2022.

With a slew of remixes and collaborations under her belt, Tigerbalm is a bussssssseeee, bringing her global looking sound to audiences worldwide. This summer you can catch her at the most excellent intimate affairs that are Rotation Soundsytem and Campo Sancho. She also has a sterling remix of Pahua's Palanté ft. Acid Coco on Razor N' Tape out today too.

It's no secret that we are passionate about world music and all kinds of exotic sounds, especially Latin rhythms. We have dedicated a side-project to this wonderful genre, which we call “Danza Estética.” While Latin House had its peak in the early 2000s, it never fully left the scene, Latin-infused productions are heating up dancefloors worldwide (shout-out to @toytonics , @razor-n-tape and @mondoritmo crews!) With this new project and DJ mix, we aim to avoid obvious versions of classics and overly cheesy or techy tunes. Our vision is to offer a take on lesser-known club songs and provide a glimpse into the future of the genre ≈ Buen viaje, let’s make Latin House great again!
