DJ and producer, Vons is dedicated to a Minimal / Deep Tech style combining eccentric bass lines and deep synths.
Member of Aurora, label and residence at the Warehouse (Nantes), he had the opportunity to play alongside artists like Oden and Fatzo, Politics Of Dancing, THEOS, Vitess, Baccus, Thurman, Fasme.
Vons has more than 15 releases in his discography on labels such as Samani, And Dance, Whoyostro, Rendr or more recently PUSH.
He draws his inspiration from the productions of artists like DJOKO, Chris Stussy, Toman, Rendher or Josh Butler.
He had the opportunity to play in clubs like the Warehouse (Nantes), Le Badaboum (Paris), Le Mazette (Paris) or Le Flow (Paris).

For the ninth chapter of our Mindgame Podcast Shows, we are hosting our friend, the talented artist of our latest Mindgame EP in collaboration with our two founders: Kirik. 

This release holds a special place in our hearts as it not only marks the Birds original debut on the label but also brings forth a truly remarkable gem. It is an emotional and vulnerable journey for both the Birds and the label, originating from a serendipitous encounter two years ago with Kirik.

During a memorable performance by the sea of Asov in the summer of 2021, the Birds had the pleasure of having Kirik in the audience right being them, unbeknownst to them at the time. However, Alex & Adrian were already long-time admirers of his productions and his label Memory Remains. It was only the following day, through Kirik’s Instagram stories, that they discovered he was there. Before leaving Ukraine, the Birds made it a point to connect with Kirik in person. The energy between them was undeniable, and from that meeting, their beautiful first EP “You Gonna Make It” was born. 

The EP opens with the mesmerizing track ‘You Gonna Make It,’ a deep house masterpiece adorned with shimmering chords and a hauntingly beautiful vocal sample. Kirik then takes us on a journey into dreamy sunset territory with his majestic piano chords, gracefully blending with crisp tech beats. The collaboration continues with ‘Kiss Me,’ a classy and soulful late-night house groove featuring well-placed samples, jazzy melodies, and the enchanting piano of Hugues Pietrini. 

It is important to mention that since their meeting, Ukraine has experienced significant challenges, and the special place where they first connected has been greatly affected by the current conflicts. This release stands as a testament to the power of music, bringing people together across borders and serving as a tribute to the resilience of Ukraine and the hope for peace worldwide. 

This is a fantastic new EP from all.
