About this track!
I based this track around the Invincibility theme, as that theme was done first, but this time with a proper melody, a melody you will hear doing cameos on other tracks! Chroma is an HD 2D Sonic fan-game based entirely around trying to jam as many new, experimental, and creative elements into one Sonic game as we can while keeping it as fun as possible. New elements you may see in gameplay include ideas that may be normally considered "taboo" for Sonic games, ideas that you may have never even heard or thought of, or ideas that you may have already thought of and dreamed to see in a Sonic game one day whether it's official or fanmade.

The people behind this project (that's us!!!) are a team of earnest, mostly college-faring people from all over the world who decided to get together to create, just like how every other team has aimed for, what we feel is the most fantastic and from-the-heart Sonic experience as we can.

What sets Chroma apart from the rest is that our goal is to combine a whole buffet of fresh or otherwise unseen ideas with the classic Sonic formula to carefully craft and bring you an HD hybrid game. Why only let you play unique levels, give you new art to gawk at and new music to listen to, when we could also give you an entirely unseen gameplay experience on top of all that? It's the logical next step, and we're proud of working to see it realized.

Sonic Chroma - Intro Theme - Chroma [OST]

So... it's been awhile, huh? I've been working on this sucker for a few months now and I think I'm ready to release it now. I'm planning to do the same for the rest of the soundtrack, but who knows, I'm terrible at staying constant.

Asides that however, I hope you enjoy it! I should have more time to post tracks with it being summer and all. So expect more to follow. ^^

I'm Jass, one of the guys in charge of Sonic Overture. I love FM synth and old synthesizers/samplers.

Most of what I do revolves around the use of FM instrumentation, mainly the YM2612 sound chip used on the Sega Genesis; but I do make stuff outside of it. I tend to do a lot of 80's pop and Fusion. (And now mashups I guess?) I have an unhealthy obsession with the KORG M1.

I also make games, mmh yeah, that's about it.

Oh and I'm also inconsistent at naming things, just a heads up.
