A charity album on the occasion of the 30th edition of “The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity”

We work in the structures of the club scene on a daily basis. We write about music, produce, organize events. We are united by a love of music, but also a willingness to help. The idea for a charity album was born in March 2021. From word to word, after weeks, we gathered the line-up of artists who were close to our musical tastes.

Many paired artists collaborated for the first time. The album does not lack producer debuts as well as experienced in this field. Everyone, without exception, agreed to take part in the project almost repeatedly, starting its implementation. The entire twenty-five (OTHK is a duo editor's note) were extremely enthusiastic about the idea, confirming our belief in the rightness of the further implementation of the assumptions made at the beginning of the plan - make everything possible by January, the beginning of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity collection and auctions.

This is a celebration of the interconnectedness of our scene.

10 YEARS of Noise Manifesto presents techno of sonic storytelling (L Ʌ V Σ N, Linn Elisabet, Ayako Mori), classic techno (Hemka, Lindsey Herbert), punk (Angel Karel, Samantha Togni, Sentimental Rave), industrial (Jassass, Hybral, Lesser Of), fast-paced (OCD, WTCHCRFT), rave (RIOTCODE, Esther Dune), acid hardcore and gabber (Femanyst, Tymon). To conclude the celebration there will be a bonus track from Paula Temple.

100% of the Income generated from this album will be donated to thebridge2hope.org/en/ - a registered not-for-profit in Amsterdam who focuses on supporting 30 people a year recovering from modern slavery.

MORSURE brings us his version of the groove in his EP "Unknown Matter".

As a French living on the German border, he immersed himself in electronic music at a very young age with the help of his parents: Massive Attack, Moby or the Chemical Brothers have been the seeds of Techno envy.

Sustaining a groovy and evolving techno, while maintaining the punchiest atmosphere possible, it is MORSURE's leitmotiv. A robotic, mechanical sound for an incisive performance.

The EP starts with an eponymous track. Arnaud confides that it is the coldest he has ever created: a tight anxiety, an evolution of the tension to be played right in the peak time.

MORSURE still remembers his visit to the Griessmuehle: the sweaty dancers surrounding him, swinging their bodies endlessly. "Step Back" track is the grooviest, transcribing this view.

"Unknown Matter" EP ends with "RedShift": percussive hypnosis, to hammer in the middle of an uncompromising set. A track not to be missed, if you've got any breath left in you so far.
