I realized I'd lost the original MIDI file I composed this song with waaaaaaaay wayyyyy back (the great hard drive fire of 2014. RIP files 2014-2014 NVR 4GET.) I set out to replicate it, but I accidentally a remix.  :S
Inspired by the work of https://soundcloud.com/hapi-san and https://soundcloud.com/sonictweaker .  I  took little bits of their arrangements, and incorporated it into this. Hopefully I'll have some more music to share soon!  (Also, this isn't an 'official' arrangement or anything. Just for funsies!)

"What Is A Star" was going to be a Kirby Superstar Ultra tribute album

It was meant to to tell a story of love and how to balance it through music
Stre and Zon where meant to be the equal rulers of their planet before Zon snapped and started to overtake it

Zon Represents romantic love
Stre Represents platonic love

Stre was going to send kirby on a mission to help stop Zon by going to different locations on the planet representing diferent things
Love for Family
Love for Friendship
Love for Partnership
Love for life

In Zon's greed they'd become a monster. use stre as a puppet, and learn a new kind of love more dangerous than the others
luckily kirby would put a stop to this and restore balance

there are a couple reasons this project was scrapped but i wanted to put what was finished out there

I made this one as a tribute to the Namco Classic Collection arcade compilations. This was made with the Namco Classic Collection soundfont, the most difficult soundfont that I've ever put together.

Most of what I do revolves around the use of FM instrumentation, mainly the YM2612 sound chip used on the Sega Genesis; but I do make stuff outside of it sometimes. I use FM8 and Genny for most of what I do.
