ICF’s trajectory, just as a tangent, was predestined to hit Asphalt’s orbit at some point, and as a zen monk would say, there is never a better moment than now. His sonic persona fits like a chain mail glove to the label’s hand and. His dark, uncompromising sounds, and his deejaying style and influences exude a strong techno and industrial blending technique: his mixes are seamless fusion of tracks carefully selected and equalized until the listener reaches tunnel-vision and new realms of consciousness.

Iago has solid artisanal dedication to his craft, always a scholar of the past sounds, a forward thinking attitude, whilst his deejaying ethics are rock solid: he will never play the easy track on the obvious moment, he will not draw upon pyrotechnics. On the contrary, for him the sonic satisfaction needs to be reached through subtlety, through nuance, through a justified decision, a hard path to follow. Bordering on stoicism, the reward needs to be earned alongside the way. Digged out of its hole. Learning the two swords technique is difficult, but always ends up in reward. Like emerging from a long dark tunnel. 

This mix reflects exactly all the above. We asked him. He delivered. And from now on, from the moment the play button is pressed, Drum and bass, IDM, tech-step, autonomic and techno were merged into a single sonic identity, a road, a real continuum, like melted into asphalt.
